Easter has arrived here at Signature at Ascot, and what a special celebration it’s been! 🐣✨

We’ve had the absolute joy of welcoming some incredible new arrivals — five beautiful ducklings! Three made a very speedy entrance into the world, while the other two took their time, gently cracking their way out of their shells.

All five are now, happy, and already quite chatty — bringing so much delight to everyone around them.

Next week, they’ll be taking their very first swim in a paddling pool, and our residents will have the wonderful opportunity to watch these little ones enjoy their big moment.

Our first event of 2026 kicked off in style with a vibrant Mexican-themed evening—full of fun, laughter, and just a touch of friendly competition from our amazing families and their loved ones!

Guests enjoyed delicious Mexican food, expertly prepared by our fabulous chefs Seb & Stuart, who did an incredible job—so much so that many guests went back for seconds, leaving plates completely clean! Paired with refreshing cocktails by Davida it truly was a night to remember.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm—especially for our hugely successful raffle—we’re proud to share that we raised an incredible £310.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a fantastic cause. Gracias! 💚

Some of our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful day out at Brooklands Museum — the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, established on the site of the world’s first purpose-built racing circuit in 1907.

The museum showcases an incredible collection of historic racing cars, motorbikes, and vintage aircraft, offering a truly special trip down memory lane. Being right on our doorstep made the experience even more meaningful.

The visit brought great joy to our residents, sparking conversations and happy memories that continued for days afterwards. A truly memorable day for all involved!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Michelle Contreras supporting our Wellbeing Week. She shared valuable insights into CBT and mental health, while also offering one-to-one support for residents who have experienced trauma following life-changing events. Michelle has years of experience in the NHS & Private Sector as a Physiotherapist.

Michelle’s approach helped residents better understand the support available to them and reinforced the importance of building a strong network as they work towards rediscovering their purpose. It was clear that those who met with her gained greater confidence, acceptance, and a renewed sense of direction.

A special mention goes to Rita, our amazing 102-year-old resident, who sat proudly at the front, fully engaged and asking plenty of thoughtful questions — a true reminder that it is never too late to learn.

With such an incredible team here at Ascot, this kind of support can only have a positive and lasting impact on our residents. Thank you to everyone who made Wellbeing Week such a success.

Another great day at Ascot!

We were fortunate to have a wealth of experience in the room, including our Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist and members of the Bracknell Parkinson’s Group. Our nurse shared valuable insights about community support and took the time to answer thoughtful questions from everyone attending.

Having this kind of quality time together was truly special, and it was clear that everyone took something meaningful away from the session.

We’re now looking at starting a dedicated Parkinson’s support group—creating a safe, welcoming space for families supporting a loved one to come together, share challenges, find guidance, and move forward with confidence. Watch this space!

A big thank you to our chef for providing delicious healthy smoothies and lunch, and to everyone who helped make both the morning and afternoon such a success!

What a wonderful way to start the week! 💅✨

Residents and guests enjoyed a relaxing day of manicures, nail painting, and soothing hand massages. From choosing colours to match their outfits to simply indulging in a bit of well-deserved pampering, it was all about feeling good and boosting well-being.

A big thank you to Alex, who kept everyone up to date with the latest colour trends, offering everything from acrylics and gels to classic nail polish.

Everyone left feeling uplifted after a full day of care and pampering—what a fantastic start to the week. Here’s to even more great days ahead! 🌸
