Castle Medical Group Castle Medical Group serves the town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and its closest villages.

Our team currently consists of 6 Doctors, 4 GP Registrars, 3 Salaried GPs, 5 Specialist Nurse Practitioners, 4 Nurses, 4 Health Care Assistants and a Phlebotomist. In addition we have many support staff who keep the health centre running on a day to day basis. The practice has 18,000 patients and provides a wide range of services and clinics. There are many of you who rarely come into the Health Centre and so we hope you will use the site as a means of keeping up to date with all our changes.

From March 2026, unused and unwanted medicines can be safely returned to any community pharmacy in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland.

Returning medicines helps keep people safe and protects the environment. Please don’t store them at home or throw them in the bin – your local pharmacy can dispose of them safely.
