I actually dropped out of university at first. I was studying computer science with no passion for the industry. I was playing it safe and definitely not living on my own terms.

Thankfully, 18 year old me was headstrong enough to walk away. After 3/4 months on the course, I left. Still the best decision I have made.

I love the work I do now and I hope that shows.

Shoutout to my boy for pulling me into the therapy and rehabilitation degree. It was never in my plans and without him I would not have found this huge part of my life. I just thought it would be three years with one of my best mates and time to get my online coaching moving.

My advice to the younger lot is simple- fall forwards. You might not be on the right path yet but with good intentions, hard work and a bit of luck, you will find your way. Try things, take the good, and learn from the bad.

Broke my nose for the first time.

Had surgery to ‘correct it’. Didn’t do much but the drugs were fantastic 🤣

Since then just the 1 more nose break from a swift left hook. Cheers xx

Downside of having a big old nose…easy to break. Up side…bare oxygen

More bodybuilding shows and wins for my regular boys

Seriously proud of these three. Not for the lighthearted these bodybuilding preps. Takes a f**k load of grit and discipline.

It’s not easy even with a smooth run but throw lower back pain, shoulder injuries, tendinopathies, nerve irritation, muscle strains and you’re in for a rollercoaster 😅

Confusing session earlier…I pulled my groin 11 days ago playing football (shock)

Today was the first day I’ve properly loaded it since and it feels completely fine🤨

Just reminded me of when clients have come in and said they can’t even feel their issue today😂

Stacked the adductor machine. No issues really on the leg press using my normal load

Feel like I’m being lured into a false sense of security😅

Need to have a kick about to test it out before returning to football but very happy with that.

Why is this obvious?

I get more time with you.
I can dig deeper with my questions, understand your situation better.

But I think it comes down to this👇🏽

I know more than them in my field.

Your GP is a general practitioners they have spent the best part of 10 years learning everything.

If you think they can stay up to date with current research and practices in every area you’re mistaken.

I however focus on the musculoskeletal system so I’m obviously going to be more clued up with related issues.

In no way am I talking down about them it’s just the facts. Week after week I hear the same things. “They just gave me pain medication” “They didn’t have a clue” etc.

No I’m not free but you can skip the uncertainty, the back and forth, the waiting lists and have a plan of action within days.
