Today, we pause to honour the brave men and women who gave their lives in service, and those who continue to serve with courage and compassion.

Their sacrifices remind us of the true meaning of duty, care, and remembrance.

At 11:00am, we ask everyone to join us in observing two minutes of silence, reflecting on their legacy and the peace they helped secure.

From heart-warming community acts to some unexpected office visitors, we’ve seen it all!

📖 First up, a story about giving back.

In 2024, our teams took part in the Nurseplus Gifting Tree, coming together across the UK to support local causes at Christmas.

🎁 Branches and offices collected gifts for homeless shelters, hospices, children’s charities, and care homes, spreading a little festive magic to those who needed it most.

💙 We’re so proud to share this incredible feedback from a social worker who reached out to Nurseplus Care at home for live-in respite support for a child with additional needs.

Our Registered Care Manager for Rayleigh & Colchester, Rebecca Strange, and dedicated carer, Abigail Smith, worked together to provide consistent, compassionate care - giving the foster family the chance to rest and recharge, while ensuring the child received the highest level of support.

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do every day - to make a real difference to the lives of those we care for and their families. 💙
