I completed a Facial Gua Sha Mastery & Stone Medicine course recently 😊

This gives me more advanced techniques with Gua Sha and other tools such as crystal mushrooms, spoons, wands, using heated stones, as well as cold stones. Also Cranial Gua Sha.

Absolutely loving this.

I'll be putting together a Facial Gua Sha treatment for the New Year so keep a look out 👀

THE VAGUS NERVE

When your vagus nerve is optimally activated it helps to:

Here’s the next in my series on body systems: The Central Nervous System - Your communication & coordination highway!

Stress affects all of our body systems and can often be felt in our central nervous system. If we have been living with chronic stress, or have experienced traumatic events, our CNS can be very sensitive.

Here’s some information on key parts of our CNS and reflex points we cover whilst working on the CNS in a reflexology treatment.

I love working on this system in a treatment as I can often see a client’s breathing slow and their body melt into relaxation. It can take clients about 15 minutes to relax into a session and it is usually when I am working on the CNS that this seems to happen.

If you're feeling stressed, like your body is on high alert, that could be your central nervous system being sensitive. Reflexology may be just the thing you need to help to calm your CNS.
