🐣 Easter Egg Appeal for Local Food Banks🐣

The F.C Wood team are collecting Easter eggs to support Local Food Banks ensuring families and individuals facing hardship can enjoy a special treat this Easter.

Please bring an Easter egg donation to:

🌼As Mothering Sunday approaches, we understand that this day can bring both warmth and sorrow. For some, it is a time of joyful celebration, while for others, it is a moment of reflection, a day when memories bloom like daffodils🌼

This afternoon the branch will have some daffodils placed outside and tomorrow we will be placing 100 bunches of daffodils around Ashford, Hythe, Folkestone, New Romney and surrounding areas.

These lonely bunches, remind us of those we hold dear and Mothers no longer with us, and those who may be feeling the weight of loss💛

🌼On Friday 28th March, we will be placing 30 bunches of daffodils in Ashford and the surrounding areas. If you find one please take it. Whether they are then placed upon a grave, shared in kindness or kept for you, these flowers carry meaning beyond their petals. These lonely bunches, remind us of those we hold dear—mothers no longer with us, and those who may be feeling the weight of loss💛

This Children's Grief Awareness Week, we shine a light on the unique ways children experience and express grief. Grief doesn’t have an age limit, and every child deserves support, understanding, and the space to heal.

It’s important to remind children that their emotions are valid, and that they are not alone in their grief.
