One weekend away.... a week of recovering. I know that it will happen I just have to accept and plan... apparently 🤣🤣
Can I accept that for the following week ill be in an enormous amount of pain and can I plan my diary accordingly.
Ive accepted the pain as its constant. Have I managed my diary accordingly??? Nope not this week!!
Exhausted and so sore but im trying to live my best life with the best people in it

When we hit a certain age we begin to feel invisible.... in my late 40s I wished I was invisible because i hated how i looked and felt. Now im 50 im happy to just be noticed by the people that love me. I hate the way I feel, pain and medical issues wise, but im now happy with how I look. I dont have nails, eyelashes, botox and fillers anymore and i haven't done since before Covid. Ive had no plastics as im not allowed, medically. Im just me an Essex girl who is a bit rough around the edges. Part of my pain management is learning acceptance.... I am trying!

Stop the yo yo.... pick a weight and stick to it. Putting yourself, your body, and your mind through losses and gains does you no good!! Pick health, not a size or a weight.....

Just sitting and thinking.... I have to sell or give away all my heels and sandals, even flat ones unless they are nana ones!! ... despite losing the weight the only thing I can wear on my feet now are trainers and flat boots. The pain is just too much. Im definitely built for comfort more than speed these days!! Proper nana

Im posting because im proud of myself... Holiday weight gone in 5 days just by cutting out the sugar and alcohol (especially cocktails) again.
I need to eat and drink sensibly and keep my weight down because of my medical issues and yo yo ing 8 stone up 8 stone down is half the reason I have "conditions" now and ive been told that by my specialist.
So here we have the last night of holiday and Im wearing a size 8 River Island dress hoping I dont look like mutton!!!

Living my best life

2 years ago I broke my leg in 3 places. Because it was such a bad break and because of the way it happened ive been under the hospital ever since. My health has declined significantly.
My number one driver to lose weight and keep it off, my health.

My life has changed dramatically in those 2 years.... ive fallen 100 of times, ive broken every bone in my body, gone unconscious far too many times, and ive had to change my lifestyle 100%.

Im now a nana, and a mother in law.... and I turned 50!!!

2025 what a year.... one ill never forget!!

Day out up London for lunch, drinks and the theatre. Picked what I wanted to wear and love that whatever I grab fits and i dont have to cover up and worry.... especially when its hot and I dont have to wear a cardigan or maxi dress 🥰🥰

Felt so conscious today.... too short, too revealing too little for a 50 year old nana??!! Hubby said i looked fantastic but I was pulling it down...pulling it across and making sure I didnt faint with my arse in the air. Big pants were on.... just incase lol
