🎄Christmas opening hours🎄
It's going to be our first Christmas in our lovely new studio, and I know I'll find it hard to keep away (although some down time is very much needed!)
Things will stay the same for the next two weeks, with reflexology available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and yoga classes on Thursdays.
We'll also be opening on Saturday 20th December and Tuesday 23rd December (both for reflexology and / or yoga 1:1s).
After the Christmas break we'll be opening for appointments on Monday 29th December and Friday 2nd January, before returning to our normal opening hours week beginning 5th January.
Yoga group classes will resume on Thursday 8th January, and don't forget our winter wellbeing workshop on Saturday 17th January too! ❄️
Comment below if you'd like to book in before Christmas, or go to our bio for all the booking links 🙌
See you soon,

I’m at our cosy studio this morning for some maternity reflexology 🧡
I don’t often offer appointments on Saturdays but I’m having such a lovely peaceful start to the weekend.
If you’d like a weekend appointment, comment and I’ll let you know when the next ones are available! 🙌

I'm excitedly planning our first yoga and therapy workshop in our lovely new studio here in Hinxhill 🙌
We'll be including a full yoga class with lots of gorgeous warming sequences and practices, relaxation (of course!) and some self-care practices drawn from reflexology and Jin Shin Jyutsu to help us all through the winter months.
Any questions, let me know - looking forward to seeing you!

On , choose kindness 💗
I love this quote because it reminds us that, however weighed down we might feel, it is always possible to be kind.
Sometimes we need to step back and take a breath before we respond, so that there is time to find the kinder response.
Sometimes we need to make sure we are kind to ourselves, so that we have that space to be kind to others.
I wrote a post some years ago which seems appropriate to share today...go to https://sunfishyoga.com/loving-kindness/ to read on our website, and let me know how you get on 💗

Our blue bottle sale is now on - making this a good time to top up on your favourites 💙
We are pleased to announce that we've updated our gift cards to make it more accessible, offering more choice for recipients too 💛
Our old physical vouchers had our original studio address on, so it was time for a change. But the world has moved on too over the past 8 years, so we're now offering digital gift cards - easy to purchase, easy to send (choose whether to email or text it to the recipient) and easy to redeem.
If you're lucky enough to receive one of our brand new gift cards, you can use it in full or part payment for your choice of yoga class, a treatment or a product in our online or studio shop. Or of course a combination of them all!
I've written more about how to purchase and how to redeem on the blog, and I've popped a purchase link in our bio too.
Any questions just ask - I'll be happy to help!

I started my journey into complementary therapies when I decided to train in reflexology after a period of ill-health, way back in 1995. A little later I came across Jin Shin Jyutsu finger holds in a Hand Reflexology text book and very soon after added that to my business. Around the same time I had begun practising yoga on a daily basis and came across Dru yoga, and started my 4 year training in North Wales in 2001 (although it ended up taking a little longer than 4 years as my son was born shortly before I would have completed my training so I took a bit of time out). Luckily I had already passed my initial teaching assessment so began teaching with a huge bump - and also did my Birthlight perinatal and postnatal training during my pregnancy too.
In the early years I didn’t have a business name as such, and it was only when I finally caught up with technology and launched my website that Sunfish Yoga and Therapy was born. I’m often asked ‘Why Sunfish?’ and it just came to me on a sleepless night shortly before my website was due to go live without a name! I was playing around in my mind with names of yoga practices and how they might work for the name - and Sunfish was born - a combination of Sun salutations (Surya namaskara being the Sanskrit name) and the gorgeous fish pose, both of which are enduring favourites of mine.
My first logo was also born in that same evening, as I sat and drew my ideas by hand - it wasn’t very professional, but it did the job for a year or two before I had my new logo professionally designed.
In 2017, after many years working as a mobile therapist and teaching my classes in church and village halls, and more than 20 years in my business, I opened my own studio in Wye. The Sunfish Yoga and Therapy studio in Church Street Wye is a dream come true....a calm and welcoming space in which to teach my classes and offer relaxing wellbeing treatments for my clients. I personally teach Dru yoga classes, suitable for all, prenatal and postnatal yoga classes for mums to be and new mums with their babies, and offer reflexology (feet, hands, ears, and facial options available) and Jin Shin Jyutsu in my tranquil treatment room. As the studio develops and the team has grown, we continue to offer more services - and in 2018 we have added Baby Massage Classes and Nutrition Consultations.
I am also a NYR Organic Independent Consultant, and use gorgeous organic products from Neal’s Yard Remedies in treatments and yoga classes, as well as having a range of products available for purchase or sampling. I am also planning a range of themed workshops combining therapies and yoga techniques with relevant products later this year.
Do get in touch if you have any questions, follow my page and visit my website for more information. I look forward to meeting you soon!
