A.J.Gascoigne & Son will ensure that your loved ones funeral is organised with the utmost dignity and respect. We are competitively priced and operate a clear and open fees policy with no upfront costs and most importantly no additional fees or hidden extras. We are unique in the fact we own and maintain a private cemetery adjacent to our funeral home at Woodhorn Village which is for the sole use of the families we serve. Our dedicated professional staff offer help, advice and personal support throughout the arranging of the funeral. We offer a 24hr, 7 days a week service covering areas of Northumberland. We also offer Golden charter pre-payment plans with 3 different ones available as well as an independent way plan whereby you can arrange the funeral to your own specification. This is also available as a fixed monthly payment scheme.

From 02 March - 16 March we’ll be posting remembrance candles as a special token to those who can’t be with us this Mother’s Day.

if they have not already been done, they will be removed by cemetery staff.
