*Update*

We are pleased to announce that we are able to re-open our service as of 8/7/20.

We will be providing TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS, Monday to Friday between 9am -1pm.

We are able to refer patients who require further investigation into Ashtead Hospital for:
>Imaging
>Blood tests
>Consultant referrals

At this point in time we are unable to offer home visits and there will be no medical admissions to Ashtead Hospital.

We hope that with time we will be able to expand the service and slowly return to "normal". We will of course update you to any changes.

On Friday 3rd April our practice will close 😢, and we will be joining our brave NHS colleagues in helping to fight the Covid-19 outbreak. When this is over we will hopefully reopen. Until then, please stay home & stay safe. 💖

🦠 Latest COVid-19 advise:

1. Anyone with a fever (>37.8 or anyone who feels they have a fever) or anyone with a new continuous cough needs to just self isolate for 7 days in case they have Corona virus.
2. They do not need to call 111 and shouldn’t call GP either.
3. They can self certify
4. They will not get swabbed unless they are unwell enough to be admitted to hospital
5. If they become unwell during this time then they need to contact 111 for advice, not the GP surgery.
6. At the moment other household contacts do not need to self isolate
7. After 7 days they can return to work (even if cough still present) BUT IF YOU STILL HAVE A TEMPERATURE, CALL 111.
8. If they have had close contact with a swabbed positive case they should already have been informed to self isolate for 14 days. They can self cert for 7 days and get the other 7 days from 111.

NB. Our GPs are currently telephone triaging all patients requesting an appointment- if the doctor feels you need to attend in person, they will then arrange an appointment for you.
