Pamela Muriel Griffiths "Pam" passed away 31st January 2026 aged 83 years.
Pam will take her final journey on Tuesday 24th February and will arrive at Dukinfield crematorium at 10:30
Family have asked for people to wear colours to the service in memory of Pam. Donations to Willow Wood.

Norman Kinsey passed away 11th January 2026 aged 86 years.
Norman will take his final journey on Thursday 5th February and will arrive at Altrincham crematorium at 11:30
Family flowers only but donations to Alzheimers society.
Following the service, friends and family are warmly invited to share memories of Norman at The Griffin on Wilmslow Road, Cheadle, SK8 3BE.

Just a reminder today is our Memorial Candle Gathering 21st December. This is our 1st one since we established in 2017, hope to see you all there 16:45.🎄

A.F. Whites would like to share an open invitation to a memorial gathering being held at Albion Church, Ashton-under-Lyne, on Sunday 21st December.

This will be a simple, gentle evening where you can
🕯 light a candle in memory of someone you love
🎄 place a Christmas ornament in their honour
and take a moment to reflect amongst others who understand.

Doors open from 4.45pm
Service begins at 5pm

Mince pies, warm drinks and a welcoming space will be available to anyone who wishes to come along. After the memorial, there is also the option to stay for the Carol Service led by the church.

No need to book just come as you are.

It was great to see some of the Year 3 students at Official Pinfold Primary School, Hattersley , who took part in our Christmas colouring competition.

We couldn’t decide on just one winner, so we gifted every child a selection box 🎁

In recognition of their fantastic work, we also donated some toys for the school’s Christmas raffle.

Hanging basket update:

Credit where it’s due, one of the men involved in taking our hanging baskets came in today with a genuine apology and a contribution towards the damage. Fair play to him; it took real courage to come in and apologise face to face. He was the smaller man who only had the baskets passed to him. (Im not naming him but if you seen the video you know)

We’ve still heard nothing from Mr. Hi-Viz, who was the mastermind behind it, but thank you to the one who owned up. Your honesty means a lot. We’ll now be able to replace the missing basket for the other side too.

Peter Walker passed away 17th November 2025 aged 77 years.
Peter will take his final journey on Thursday 18th December and will arrive at Dukinfield crematorium chapel at 13:30 followed by interment at Dukinfield Cemetery at 14:00.
