I’ll be honest — my soul doesn’t leap at January.
For me, new beginnings arrive with buds and birdsong,
not fireworks and forced momentum.
Winter is still asking us to rest. To listen. To be gentle.
If this turning of the year feels heavy, quiet, tender or uncertain,
please know you are not behind.
You are exactly where you need to be.
This is a beautiful time to care for yourself deeply —
to soften expectations,
to honour what the past year has asked of you,
and to move slowly, lovingly, back into yourself.
May this year meet you kindly.
May you give yourself permission to move at your own pace.
And may whatever you’re carrying feel a little lighter
