We have been waiting for guidance and standards for the use of digitally enhanced platforms/ AI and this is a amall step in the right direction. Nothing will beat the Therapeutic relationship between a person and their counsellor. I have been trained to see what's behind the question that is asked not to deliver a generated response. Counselling gives you the opportunity to gather insight, understanding and awareness of you as an individual 🙂

New guidance on the safe use of mental health apps has been published, a welcome and timely step as more people turn to digital tools for support.

We welcome clear standards that will help protect users, strengthen data security and promote evidence-based care in a fast-growing market. However, safeguards must keep pace with innovation so people can trust the support they’re accessing.
