Cristiano Ronaldo works with coaches,

Rafael Nadal works with coaches,

Mia Khalifa probably even had a coach.

Do you think they don’t know what they’re doing?

Of course they do.

But they still have coaches,

Because knowledge isn’t the problem.

And its the same for you,

You already know what you need to do to get shredded,

And if you don’t, nowadays you can ask chatGPT.

You don’t need more information,

But you do need someone to make sure you actually do it.

Consistently, every day,

Not just on plan Monday to Friday, then f**king it all up at the weekend like usual.

You need someone to answer to.

Someone that will give you a kick up the arse when you’re slacking,

Someone to stop you getting distracted by bullsh*t you see online,

Someone to check your progress weekly and tell you if you’re on track or not,

Someone who’s helped loads of others achieve what you want to achieve,

And has the experience in the game to save you from years of trial and error.

And that’s exactly what ELEV8 gives you.

If you want it badly enough, you’ll make it happen.

“I don’t have time” is a sh*t excuse,

Deep down you know you’re just unorganised.

Or you’re not prioritising your training.

Either way, if you actually wanted to get shredded, you’d find a way.

Excuses are easy to find.

And if you want to make them, you’ll not have any problems coming up with them.

Alastair could’ve been the guy who just made excuses,

2 kids to run around after,

Busy job that involves sitting at a desk all day,

You wouldn’t blame him for not being shredded.

But he wasn’t going to be a victim of his circumstances.

He made it happen, one way or another.

And now he’s shredded as f**k,

While you’re still telling yourself you’ll start on Monday,

And this time is going to be different (shock - it won’t).

The difference between Alastair and you isn’t time,

It’s priorities.

He wanted it more than you do,

Simple as that.

If you’re ready to stop making excuses and actually do something about your physique drop me a message.

Weekly picture of me half naked (but not quite)

Wonder if I could charge for this on only fans? Probably not tbf.

Anyway, first full week back after the holiday and I’m pretty much the same weight / body comp as the week before we went.

Can’t do much better than that 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not been the best week training wise as I came down with something and haven’t really been 100% since.

Haven’t trained legs properly for a good few weeks but it’s on the agenda for later today.

Now that the holiday mini cut is over we are back on the gain train, my initial plan was to diet down early next year for sort of May time but now with a baby on the way it kinda changes things.

I’ve also been thinking more and more about bodybuilding recently, I tend to fall in and out of love with the competitive side of it and right now Im feeling like making a return. Going to give it some thought but right now the aim is to have a produce year ahead of gaining with the odd tidy up, to facilitate the potential of competing in 2027.

Thanks for reading my diary entry for this week.

“They look great but I wouldn’t want to look like that.”

You’ve said this before.

Scrolling through Instagram, seeing someone shredded, and telling yourself you wouldn’t want that anyway.

“Too much work.”

“I like food too much.”

“I don’t want to be that obsessed.”

Just as well, because you never will look like that.

Not with your current approach anyway.

You don’t have the work ethic to train consistently when it gets hard.

You don’t have the discipline to stick to your diet at the weekend.

You don’t have the know how to set up a plan that actually works.

And you don’t have a coach to guide you through it and hold you accountable.

But you can change that.

Drop me a message to find out how.

And stop kidding yourself that you wouldn’t kill to have a shredded six pack.

We both know you would.

Most people nowadays choose comfort over results.

They want a gym with air conditioning in summer and the heating in winter.

They want the fancy equipment that looks good even though most of the modern kit feels sh*t to train with.

They want motivational quotes on the walls and a juice bar in the corner.

But they don’t want to actually do the f**king work.

Reps getting hard? Stop the set.

Getting hungry? F**k the diet.

Gym’s too cold in winter? Stay home and watch TV with the Mrs.

Any task in life that’s too uncomfortable or doesn’t give instant gratification, people just quit.

So if you’re skipping the gym over winter because it’s “too cold” or “too dark at nights”

Then you will never change your physique.

You’re just looking for excuses to avoid discomfort.

And you’ll keep finding them for the rest of your life.

That’s why you look the same as you have for the past few years,

And why you’ll look the same a few years from now…

Because you’re not willing to do what’s uncomfortable.

You want the results but you’re not willing to earn them.

If you always do what you’ve always done, you’re only ever going to get the same results you’ve always got.

So stop kidding yourself that you’re “training hard” when you won’t even train in the cold.

Go join an old school gym with no heating this winter I guarantee your results will change.

If you didn’t already know, Black Friday is this Friday.

And you’ve maybe noticed every online coach and their dog is suddenly offering discounts on their coaching.

I’ve even seen coaches offering some free months of coaching.

You’ll never get that from me.

Mostly because I’m a tight b*stard.

But also because throwing about massive discounts tells me something about these coaches.

Either their coaching was massively overpriced to begin with (ÂŁ1200 for 3 months upfront springs to mind).

Or they’re so desperate for clients they’ll devalue their own service just to get someone through the door.

Neither is a good sign.

I’m not discounting my 1-1 online coaching.

In fact come January it will go up in price for new clients.

However, I’m not going to completely sit out the Black Friday sales.

What I’m going to do instead is open up 20 super early bird spaces for the January ELEV8.

Again, not with a discount...

But with a few nice little extras to make it even more worth your while.

Spaces go on sale Friday at 9am,

Or if you’re on my email list you’ll get early access on Thursday.

Which you can join via the link in my bio btw.

It’s not every day you get to have aka ‘The Quadfather’ take you through some squats.

This was such a cool experience.

It was great to hear the stories from the original Golds Gym, the Mr Olympia contests and training philosophies from the golden era of bodybuilding 🙌

Big shout out to for organising today 👏

Well done to Alastair and Rachel who both nailed their photoshoot last night 📸👏

This was the first time we used at night to do the photos and I think they’re going to be that bit more special, lighting was bang on.

Final shoot of the year done and dusted, if you’re interested in getting yourself in photoshoot shape next year then drop me a message and let’s get a plan in place 🫡

I got accused of faking my transformations.

A few years back when I posted about my personal training business in some local groups, I used these before and after pictures of John to promote it.

I got a notification: ‘Dave has commented on your post.’

Here we f**king go I thought.

“This isn’t even real, look at the tattoo it’s magically disappeared.”

Fair point Dave.

But what Dave didn’t consider is that maybe I’d just used John’s left side in one picture and his right side in the other?

Maybe I just thought the transformation looked better this way.

Anyway, Dave wasn’t having any of it.

I replied, “If I was going to remove any tattoo from the pictures it would’ve been that Rangers tattoo.”

Dave did not respond.

You see the problem with people like Dave is that they’d rather pretend this sort of transformation isn’t possible.

That it can’t be real.

Why?

Because it gives them an excuse to sit on their arse every night after work, eating sh*te, watching TV, and blaming their belly on genetics.

“It’s the way I’m meant to be, my Dad was overweight too.”

Maybe your Dad just taught you bad habits.

People like Dave would rather be a victim than put in effort.

John could’ve been like Dave.

After training for years without results, it would’ve been easy to think getting lean wasn’t possible for him.

But John wasn’t about to give up.

He made this transformation in just 16 weeks.

With the right plan and a bit of work ethic, you’d be amazed at how much you can transform your body.

Drop me a message if you need some help and you don’t want to be another Dave.

Post holiday physique update…

Imagine that I’ve come back after a week of eating whatever I fancy and yet nothings changed.

Still the same weight.

Still just as lean.

Still just as white.

Why?

Because when 95% of the time you’re consistent with your food, and with your training, then the other 5% isn’t going to make much difference.

Unless of course you’re prepping for a shoot or a bodybuilding show,

But that’s certainly not on the cards for me, at least not at the minute.

If you want to stay lean, eat more food and get stronger while building muscle then drop me a message and I can help you do the same.
