We are happy to announce that a second Optometrist will be joining the practice in August.

This will mean a few positive changes for everyone. Firstly more availability. We will be open for Examinations & Emergencies Monday - Saturday 9:30am -5:00pm.

We are also very aware of the lack of Domiciliary visits for those that are housebound in the Strathspey Area. As we are focused on community and patient care will be looking to include days where we will come out for appointments towards the end of the year, so please let people know this is coming!

With the addition of another Optometrist we will also be looking for additional staff to help with the increase in work. If you or anyone you know might be interested, we are looking to hire additional Part Time staff, we are happy to look at all applicants for Reception work, Job Share etc etc. Starting rate of £12PH. Aviemore Opticians will currently still be fully open for appointments, This may be subject to change based on NHS guidelines.
But for now if you have an appointment you will still be seen.

If you require to visit the practice for any other reason you must book a time to come in.
This is to help control numbers waiting to enter the practice.

Currently only two people are allowed in the shop and you must wear a mask at ALL times.

If you have any flu like symptoms please reschedule.
