Meet Alison!

We’re delighted to welcome Alison, our new Foot Health Practitioner, to the team.

Alison has a real passion for supporting older adults with essential foot care, and will be offering both in-clinic appointments and a new home visit service across Badenoch & Strathspey. She will also be supporting residents in care homes and sheltered housing, helping ensure accessible foot care within our community.

Alongside her foot health training, Alison brings a wealth of healthcare experience with qualifications in occupational therapy and child immunisations.

Appointments are now available for:
• Toenail cutting
• Routine foot care
• Nail reconstruction
• Verrucae care
• Home visit services

What a wonderful week it’s been opening our new space and settling in.

We are so proud getting to this step in our business journey. Our team is growing, our hours are increasing and our services are expanding, all with the goal of being the leading foot and ankle experts in the Badenoch and Strathspey area.

It’s ready!

Our new space is done, finished as a modern, professional clinical for all your foot, ankle & lower limb care.

We have new equipment to make our staff and our patients experience comfortable! We’ve got the new technology including diagnostic tools, pressure analysis, 3D foot scanning, and an orthotic workshop space.

We hope this is a place where you come to feel comfortable and well cared for under our expertise at Foot Forte Podiatry.

We are nearly ready…

With lots of planning, and lots of hard work from all involved, our new clinical space is coming together just as we have hoped for.

We open the doors to our new location this week, and we’re so excited to share our new space. It’s the start of a new chapter in the week ahead, as our space and team are expanding!

Seeing that sign go on the building makes this next chapter feel very real. This little sign represents years of hard work, learning and growth, and Louise is a very very proud business owner!

It might look a little messy right now, but this is the exciting part - building a clinic space designed to make your visits comfortable, well equipped for your care and with the latest technology and tools to do the best we can to care for our community.

Every detail is being thought through with patient experience in mind.

We’re working hard to create a calm, modern environment that supports the high standard of treatment and quality care that you know us for.

We’ve been quiet in January, but oh have we been busy!

This week was our last week operating from the Cairngorm Clinic.

We started up, one hour here and one hour there just a couple of years ago, and now the business has grown and expanded that we have now outgrown this space and are moving on to the next step of our business journey.

A big thanks to Cairngorm Clinic for welcoming us into their space & looking after us so well. It’s a lovely clinic room and therapy space, and if you know anyone looking for a space to rent for a few hour/ days a week- get in touch with Sally or Wendy at Cairngorm Clinic.

This space has been part of the Foot Forte Podiatry story in Aviemore. And within these 4 walls, we’ve had many conversations, treatments, progress moments, reassurance chats, laughter, tears and hugs!
Thank you to all our patients for trusting us with your foot health.

This chapter closing is making space for something new, bigger and built for the future of our business!

We get it! And we want to keep you cycling!

No one books a podiatry appointment for fun- you book because you want to stay active, stay comfortable, and keep doing the things you love.

Whether that’s cycling, running, skiing and snowboarding, walking the dog or chasing the kids around.

Foot maintenance isn’t about stopping activity, it’s what keeps you going. Small issues sorted early mean fewer flare-ups, less time out, better performance and more smiles!

As we head into the festive period, we just want to say a huge thank you to all our patients for your continued trust and support this year.

Our last clinic day is this Sunday (21st Dec 2025) as we take time to rest, recharge and relax before reopening for an exciting year ahead.

Clinic will reopen on Sunday 4th January 2026.
