Today, we announce a special five-year partnership with Wolfburn Distillery.

The Thurso-based distillery has pledged £15 from every sale of their new SCAA-labelled 12-year-old malt as a running fundraiser for our life-saving charity 🥃

The day before we left South Africa. We went to the Cradle of Humankind. MAROPENG and a brief stop at the Sterkfontein caves. For those of you who are interested in Paleoanthpology and some archeology. This is very interesting. And worth a Google

A little about me

I recently moved to the Black Isle from Guernsey, where I was working in Primary Care as Head Osteopath for The Healthcare Group, which is a large medical practise with 4 surgeries. I worked closely with the Doctors in a Joint Care team, which consisted of 3 Osteopaths and 2 Phyiotherapists and led by a GP specialising in Sports Medicine.

I have moved to Scotland because my husband who had been working with SCAA (Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance) in Perth, recently took a job with Helimed 02, which flies out of Inverness. A journey back to his routes as he first flew as part of the team here 20 years ago. With Guernseys’ strict Covid rules we were unable to travel to see each other, so I packed up and swapped one coast line for another.

Prior to Guernsey I worked with some amazing Osteopaths in Cambridge , Essex and Kent. Working in a childrens’ clinic and a multi disciplinary clinic. I graduated in 2009 from the ESO (European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent), and have since done numerous courses in Classical Osteopathy and OsteoMap.

I am originally from East London in South Africa and left to travel in March 1999. My travels took me to Chicago, England, Ireland, Guernsey and now Scotland.
