The long-awaited sunshine is finally here ☀️

And what better time to enjoy it than on World Happiness Day 💛

Celebrating St Patrick's Day 🍀 with cheer and a touch of Irish spirit! Our residents have spend the afternoon celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together with a tipple of Guinness, along with a lovely afternoon tea, while doing a themed quiz.

🐾 Crufts 🐾

To mark the occasion, we enjoyed some of our firm favourites of our residents, colouring, painting and a fun pairing game, matching different dog breeds together. It was a lovely way to celebrate while sharing lots of smiles and conversations about everyone’s favourite furry friends.

We even had a surprise visit from two dogs who were visiting one of our residents, which made the day even more special! 🐕

A great afternoon of creativity, laughter and all things dogs!

A big thank you to the Axminster Community Shed for kindly making our new Silverleigh sign, which now has pride of place in our reception area.

A special mention to Len, one of our residents, who volunteers at the shed twice a week and helped make this possible, and to Trevor and Mark from our maintenance department for putting the sign in place.

We’re very proud of him and everyone involved, we really appreciate the time, effort and community spirit that went into creating it.

It’s wonderful to have such great support from our local community, thank you! 🙂

We had a flipping fantastic fun today as we celebrated Pancake Day with our wonderful residents!

The smell of freshly made pancakes filled the home this afternoon as we enjoyed this much-loved tradition. From the classic lemon and sugar to strawberries, syrup, and even a cheeky bit of chocolate spread, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
