Despite the weather taking a turn for the worse today and not being quite so kind to us, we’re still going strong. We’ve simply moved our outdoor planting indoors to keep everything on track.

Spring has finally arrived, bringing with it brighter, drier and sunny days. ☀️

Our residents have been making the most of it by getting their hands into the soil and planting a lovely selection of herbs. Our chefs requested a variety of different mints and it’s been a joy to see our residents enjoying the outdoors and nurturing something new together. 🪴🌱 💛

We’ve all had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with sunshine, smiles, and plenty of chocolate treats for all our amazing staff and residents! 🐣

It’s been a lovely long weekend of everyone enjoying the celebrations and making the most of the beautiful weather. We hope this special weekend has brought lots of joy and sweet treat moments. 🐥

A few of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful day out at Beer Head ☀️🌊

With the sunshine on our faces and the fresh sea air all around, it was the perfect setting for a relaxing outing. We took in the stunning coastal views, shared plenty of smiles, and made some truly special memories together 💛

Trips like these are so important for wellbeing, offering a chance to connect with nature and each other. Safe to say, it was a day full of laughter, joy, and appreciation for the simple pleasures in life 🌼

🐣✨ Easter preparations are well underway at Silverleigh! ✨🐣

Our residents have been getting into the seasonal spirit by making delicious chocolate nest cakes — and what a lovely morning it’s been! 🍫🪺

From stirring and shaping to carefully placing the mini eggs on top, everyone got involved. These simple activities bring back wonderful memories of Easters gone by, sparking smiles, conversation, and a real sense of togetherness.

It’s not just about the cakes (although they do taste amazing! 😋 — it’s about the joy of sharing moments, creating something together, and celebrating traditions that mean so much.

Well done to everyone who took part… we think the results look egg-cellent! 🐰💛
