Today we came together to remember ❤️

At 11am, residents and staff gathered to observe a two-minute silence in honour of all those who have served and sacrificed.

This afternoon, we were treated to a delightful performance by Paul Stevens, filling our Home with music and memories. The day was rounded off perfectly with a delicious cake and afternoon tea shared among residents, families, and staff.

On Sunday, we also had the pleasure of welcoming Jay Hobday - Vocalist, who performed beautifully for our residents in honour of Remembrance Sunday.

This wet and chilly winter weather hasn’t stopped us from having fun! Our residents have been keeping active and warm indoors with a few friendly games of table tennis. There’s been plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and even a few surprise champions!

What a joyful afternoon we have had 🎶. Our residents and their loved ones had a wonderful time reminiscing through the beautiful sung classic songs by Mini Concerts. Thank you for filling our home with music, memories and lots of smiles ✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful mini firework display last night, lighting up the garden with excitement and laughter. To top off the evening, everyone tucked into a hearty banger and mash supper, a cosy and delicious way to end the celebrations.

After months of love, care, and plenty of watering, our tallest sunflower has reached an impressive 9 feet tall! Our residents have loved watching them grow, nurturing each plant with dedication and pride. A huge well done to everyone involved — these towering blooms are a wonderful reminder of what a little patience and care can achieve! 🌻💛

Thank you so much to the The Community Waffle House for making our residents feel so welcome 🥰

Waffle Axminster has known Charlie for over 6 years and last month was his birthday. Our amazing staff, who adore Charlie, bought a mug with his name on as he often pops in for a hot chocolate with marshmallows, which he absolutely loves! We are about building relationships with our community more than anything and Charlie is just a small example of friendship.

Today, our care home was filled with light, laughter, and the joyful spirit of Diwali! 🌟

Residents and staff came together to celebrate the Festival of Lights with beautiful decorations, traditional sweets and music.

Once again, a big thank you to our wonderful team, residents and relatives for making this day so special.

This morning we had a wonderful time at our Relatives meeting, welcoming some new residents and their families.

These gatherings are always filled with positive energy, thoughtful conversations, and valuable feedback.
