The face behind it all ❤️
Hi, just wanted to introduce myself again. It’s been a while 🙂
So I’m Lauren, I qualified from University College Birmingham in 2019 studying Sports Therapy (BSc).
Where has his journey led me? Well somewhere I never thought I’d end up. 🏉
I first ended up doing work placement in 2018 at Aylesbury Rugby Club, I have since become part of the full time medical team, working my way up and now working as head of medical and working with the men’s 1XV.
Other teams I’m currently working with or have been over the years; Bucks charity for girls, Bucks county men’s, Wasps DPD, Next phase academy.
Qualifications and experiences over the years have gained me to have a PHSIC level 2 to be able to work within the rugby industry.

Working within rugby, has helped me to become part of a team/family. It’s help me to build my confidence and knowledge within the sporting industry and to help gain my knowledge as a sport therapist, seeing more things and experiencing more things than you would ever learn l within the class room.
Before this I worked for near enough 1.5 years at Spine Body and Health in Bedford as a soft tissue specialist. Working here helps me by expanding my knowledge of the body and helping to develop the sets of skills I use today.
In 2021 I opened up PAYA sports therapy. Working with a variety of people. Here I’ve learnt to build my business, offering a variety of treatments and building personal care plans for each individual.
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey. I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of all my friends and family ❤️
Here’s to many years of PAYA Sports Therapy 🥂
