Dear all, excellent news!

Following the new government guidelines issued on 23 June I would like to announce that
from 4th July Healthy Roots Acupuncture clinic is open for “Careful Practice”!

As a healthcare professional I will continue to follow British Acupuncture council Covid-19 secure guidelines (it is based on the stringent medical NHS guidelines)

The “careful practice” phase is updated from the “Urgent care and high need” phase.
It allows me to treat urgent cases, patients with chronic conditions leading to mental or physical distress and also NOW I can treat you for your personal wellness, this includes restorative and relaxing treatments.

Please note that for every patient I must undertake a full PPE and risk assessment

Dear All, there is a great news! On 26th May, British Acupuncture Council announced the Return to practice, however at the moment Acupuncture practitioners are providing URGENT Care only. By definition the URGENT care provided for illnesses or injuries which require prompt attention but are typically not of such seriousness as to require the services of an emergency room. Hence if you think your health is affected by acute condition (for example muscle strain which affects your everyday activity and causing disturbance of sleep pattern/anxiety) please give me a call and I will need to make an assessment if I can treat you at this time or it is best to wait until I am back to Normal practice.
I would like to reassure you that Healthy Roots Clinic is COVID 19 Secure:
• I have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment
• I have cleaning, hand washing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance
• I have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a two-metre distance in the clinic
• I have done everything practical to manage transmission risk, where people cannot be two-metres apart.

Once again, awaiting for British Acupuncture council decision on to when and how the Acupuncture practices can be resumed. After the meeting taken on Tuesday 12th May “they are now seeking clarification on the government position, both legal and from the insurers and Professional Standards Authority (PSA), before taking the step of recommending that members can return to full practice”. Patience is paramount.
