Today, the team and our residents dressed in their PJs to raise money for Children in Need. We had a fantastic coffee morning full of games, music, and delicious cakes and biscuits, all for a wonderful cause.

Today, Hampden Hall residents have been given and are receiving love for World Kindness Day.

We set up our post office, and our residents were ready to receive their mail. One by one, residents received their post with a few words of kindness inside.

In the afternoon, we hit the streets in our community to spread the love with our homemade biscuits that our residents made just yesterday.
We went door to door, handing out biscuits and speaking to delivery guys and builders, all in the spirit of World Kindness Day.

🌹 Honouring Remembrance Day Across Our Homes 🌹

Here is what some of our homes got up to this Remembrance Day. Residents, families, and team members came together to pay tribute to the brave men and women who sacrificed so much for our freedom.

From handmade poppies and D-Dolly's visits, to quiet moments of reflection and remembrance services, it was a truly moving day for everyone involved.

Remembrance Day is a special time across the UK. A moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks to those who fought for the lives we are fortunate to live today. Their courage, strength, and dedication will never be forgotten.

What a lovely end to a busy week. Our residents enjoyed making poppy reefs and badges in our arts & Crafts sessions, ready for Sunday's remembrance service. We all enjoyed cutting and glueing our poppies and reminiscing about the war and how things have changed today.

That afternoon, we had a resident favourite come and sing for us. Lee played all our favourites, including Sweet Caroline. We all had a great time singing and swaying along

This morning, our residents all came together to enjoy our own fireworks display. We treated ourselves to S'mores, popcorn and other treats that went down a storm!

Our residents loved watching the fireworks on our large screen with the surround sound, which felt like being at the real thing ........ minus the cold and the muddy wheels 😜

Hampden Hall was in full swing for Halloween on Friday. Our residents enjoyed Party games and music as well as a delicious Halloween-style menu. In the afternoon, all the home came together for a big disco where we all danced and sang to all the tunes!

On Friday, we celebrated Wear It Pink Day to raise money for Cancer Research. Our residents had a lovely time eating the biscuits we had made the day before, along with other pink treats, and of course, this had to be washed down with plenty of cups of tea and coffee ☕😜

We all enjoyed a group quiz identifying traditional cakes and pastries, along with a few other games.

Yesterday we took a couple of residents on a trip for a few games of pool and a cheeky half at our local pub. Our residents had a great time competing against the activities team at pool and managed to beat them not once but twice! The team is already calling for a rematch 😜🥰🤝🍻🥇🎱
