DEPARTMENT PROFILE:
To provide personal care and promote well- being and independence for all residents within a safe and caring environment.
JOB PROFILE:
To lead and develop the care team and ensure delivery of exemplary patient centered care which promotes independence and well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide professional leadership and promote best practice in all areas of care delivery
Be responsible for residents’ personal care and well being, ensuring that each resident receives person centered care.
Be responsible for each residents care plans ensuring they are current and reflect each residents needs.
Work as a multidisciplinary team to deliver the care
Safely administer and accurately record medicines for residential residents
Support with medication renewals and medication audits
Manage the accident and incidents reported, follow up, and provide monthly analysis.
Allocate tasks and ensure they are completed
Maintain records in accordance with all policies, procedures and legislation
Manage the care rota in line with dependency and ensure correct staffing levels at all times.
Manage annual leave requests within the team
Manage recruitment and retention, managing performance, appraisals, supervisions, training, meetings, audits
Induct new members of the care team
Communicate in an effective, timely and courteous manner with everyone
Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times
Follow all company policies and procedures
Take responsibility for attending all required courses and undertake self -directed learning
Assist other Chilton House teams as and when required
Perform any additional duties as required by the Managing Director
