🎄✨ Christmas Opening Hours & A Big Thank You! ✨🎄

What a whirlwind first 6 months it’s been for Holland Chiropractic! From an amazing first 5 months to a little challenging November - luckily I'm slowly getting back on my feet now and I can't explain how grateful I am for all the support, kind words, and trust from every single one of you — it’s been a fantastic start to my new business, and I can’t wait to welcome old and new faces in the new year and to see what 2026 brings! 🌟

Please bear with me over the festive period if I don't respond as quickly as usual I will get back to you as soon as possible. 🎅

Open as normal:

➡️ Tuesday 23rd December - Open as normal
➡️ Wednesday 24th – Monday 29th December - Closed
➡️ Tuesday 30th December — 11:00am to 4:00pm -Open
➡️ Wednesday 31st December – Sunday 4th January - Closed

Normal hours resume:

🏅✨ European Masters Athletics Championships – Madeira 2025

So proud of my patient Jeanette, who’s just returned home from the European Masters Athletics Championships in Madeira — and brought back multiple medals!

After battling through injury over the past few months, her determination, patience, and commitment to recovery have truly paid off. Training level intensity pre competition was a lot lower than it normally would be and trusting the process has likely been very frustrating for such a motivated athlete. It’s been a privilege to support her on this journey and to see her back doing what she loves — and excelling at it. 👏

A real inspiration and a reminder that with the right mindset and consistent support, the comeback can be even stronger than the setback.

⭐What is Sciatica?

Sciatica describes pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve—from the lower back, through the hips and buttocks, and down the leg. It can present as pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness, usually on one side.

⭐What Causes It?

Sciatic symptoms can be caused by several underlying issues, including:

🔹Joint or spinal restrictions
🔹Muscular tension or imbalance
🔹Nerve irritation or compression
These causes may stem from musculoskeletal problems, which chiropractors are trained to assess and manage.

⭐How Can Chiropractic Help?
If your sciatica symptoms are related to a musculoskeletal issue, chiropractic care may help to relieve pressure and irritation, improve mobility, and support your body’s recovery.

⭐Chiropractic uses techniques such as:
