Fear has a clever way of sounding like logic.
“Maybe it’s not the right time.”
“What if it doesn’t work?”
“I’ll do it when I feel more confident.”
When we listen to that voice, something subtle happens.
We shrink, we stay small, we retreat to what we know, even when it no longer feels good.
Fear keeps us in the familiar and convinces us that safety lives there, while our soul is quietly whispering that there is more waiting for us.
When we give into fearful thinking:
We stay in our comfort zone even when it drains us.
We close the door before life has a chance to meet us.
Opportunities pass by not because they weren’t meant for us but because we didn’t open to them.
Possibilities fade because we talked ourselves out of trying.
Our energy contracts and with it our confidence.
Most of the things we fear never actually happen and the magic that could have happened never gets a chance to unfold.
What I’ve learned is this…
Fear feels real, but it’s rarely true.
Each time we take even the smallest step beyond it, something shifts.
We expand, we grow, we surprise ourselves and in that brave moment life comes to meet us.
So if fear feels loud today, pause and breathe.
You don’t need a big leap.
Just one gentle step beyond “I can’t.”
That is where possibility begins.
Have a great day,
Love and blessings,
