This week, residents Shelia and Leia joined our activities team for some classic games in the activities room 🎲. Our residents especially enjoyed playing Scrabble, sparking lovely nostalgic conversations about playing the game with their families over the years 🧡.

Scrabble isn’t just a trip down memory lane — it’s also fantastic for keeping the mind active . Games like this help stimulate memory, language skills, and problem-solving, providing gentle yet effective cognitive exercise in a social and enjoyable way.🧠

Today we held our Grand Opening event at Aston Manor, welcoming individuals from the Aylesbury community as we begin a new chapter of care. Our very first resident joined the Mayor of Aylesbury to cut the ribbon, marking a truly special moment for everyone involved.

As we prepare to welcome our first residents, our Home Manager, Rex, and Customer Relations Manager, Jo, have been out in the local community meeting some of our new neighbours in the Aylesbury community!🧡

Their visits included Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, the Ambulance Station at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, as well as the local police station, doctor’s surgery, and other businesses.

It has been wonderful connecting with so many friendly faces, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone to Aston Manor soon for a tour and a chance to see why better days start here. 🧡
