A festive favourite 🎄
We spent the morning Christmas baking after one of our lovely gentleman residents requested mince pies — but they had to be homemade, he insisted!
So we enjoyed a wonderful, festive morning making mince pies together while listening to Christmas carols. And of course, we sampled them this afternoon.
One very happy gentleman!

We had a wonderful visit from Debutots this morning — always a firm favourite with our residents.
There were bubbles, storytelling, interactive games, and plenty of smiles.
Intergenerational moments like these are truly some of the most rewarding.

Our ladies recently enjoyed the nostalgia of baking and decorating their own Christmas cakes, just as they did in years gone by.

In this vital role, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of Westgate Healthcare, guiding prospective residents and their families through every step of their journey, from enquiry to move-in. You’ll take the lead in generating, managing, and converting enquiries to help our homes maintain strong occupancy levels, all while creating a warm and welcoming experience.

Working closely with the Home Managers, Group Sales Manager, and Head of Sales & Marketing, you’ll play a key part in ensuring a smooth transition for new residents and promoting a positive, fulfilling lifestyle within our homes.

We’re looking for someone who combines excellent customer service and sales skills with genuine care and compassion, someone who can deliver results while making every family feel truly supported.

Yesterday, we celebrated the amazing men at Byron House and highlighted the importance of men’s health. The guys loved the blueberry, banana, and ginger smoothies, which help support gut health, immunity, and energy. We also had a great time playing some fun, competitive games.

Today we held a creative autumn flower-arranging group.
Our residents used their imagination and flair to design beautiful individual arrangements, which are now proudly displayed throughout the home.
We also worked together to create a larger autumn-themed display for the conservatory.
These wonderful craft sessions offer valuable opportunities for social connection and cognitive stimulation.
