Journaling is a great way to maintain our well-being, but also to work on our mental health. Through journaling, we can identify patterns and thinking styles and begin to make positive changes.

If you are local to the Ayrshire area, Minds Over Matter offer a free to attend drop in group, where you can chat about all things mental health, engage in various activities or just have a cuppa and a catch up with some like minded people. They run groups every Friday evening in Kincaidston. Check out their page for further info.

Nothing changes, if nothing changes! CBT not only looks at our thoughts and feelings, but also our behaviours. Anxiety can be managed by tackling things in a graded manner to face our fears. The effects of depression can be eased by slowly but surely building activity. Experimenting with our behaviour is a key way to make lasting change.
