Mass & Chat?! MASSAGE & Chat!
I'm not a 'conveyer belt' therapist, I like to give you time to ease into the session and very often, that involves a bit of chat before we get started. It's not necessary and you're very welcome not to but it's my way of making sure you are comfortable in the lovely room, you have time to ease out of the busyness of your week, we have time to chat about what you need and what you'd like from your time with me.

We might get onto talking about all sorts of things, like how your sore back is making you feel more stressed, how your journey with grief is feeling just now, how a relationship is bothering you, what flowers are growing in your garden, where to find good Thai curry paste (all true!).

Coming for a massage, you need to feel comfortable and safe with the person who's working with you. When you do, you can really relax. And the more you relax, the deeper your muscles relax. And that will let you get the most from your appointment, get what your sore back really needs.
