At the home we had the amazing Geez a Break Productions performing the pantomime of Pinocchio, our residents had a great time (oh yes we did) with lots of laughter and entertainment.

Its been a busy few week at Forbes home, we had Liz Fortune entertain us with her amazing singing for our Guy Fawkes Party. All our residents had a great time singing along.

On Friday 31st Oct we all had a spooktacular Halloween Bash, with some of our residents and staff all dressing up for the party, the DJ once again played some great music to dance to. A Big Thank You to our kitchen staff who made some delicious hot food for the buffet.

Our residents had a great afternoon of pumpkin carving, we are all getting into the spirit of Halloween along with some arts and crafts making decorations.

Friday 24th Oct is Breast Cancer Awareness Day, at Forbes House we are holding an Open Coffee and Cake Afternoon to raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer. We are holding a raffle table, tickets will be available on the day to purchase, any donations towards the raffle table would be greatly appreciated. We hope all family and friends can come along and join us for this worthwhile cause.

🎉 Fantastic news from Forbes House!

Enhance Healthcare is delighted to share that Forbes House in Ayr has impressed in its latest unannounced Care Inspectorate inspection, achieving two Very Good (5) ratings for Leadership and Staff Team, alongside three Good (4) ratings for Wellbeing, Setting, and Care and Support Planning.

This incredible result reflects a huge amount of hard work, compassion, and commitment shown every day by the Forbes House team. Inspectors praised the “kind, compassionate, and dignified support” provided to residents, as well as leadership that was “responsive and committed to continuous improvement.”

Congratulations to the Forbes House team on this fantastic result and well-deserved recognition of their hard work. 👏

We would like to thank everyone who came along to our Black History Month event and helped to celebrate the diversity of our staff. We would also like to thank our amazing staff whom contributed to our delicious world buffet with all their traditional home-cooked food. The DJ's music got everyone up and dancing, we had a great afternoon of socialising and everyone coming together.
