Have you ever felt like your body just doesn’t respond the same way as someone else’s?
Like some people are always full of energy, others feel anxious or overwhelmed easily, and some feel heavy or sluggish no matter what they do?
In Ayurveda, we explain this through something called doshas.
Doshas are basically your body’s unique mind-body type—and there are three main ones: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
Each one has its own qualities, and it influences everything from your energy levels, digestion, emotions, even how you respond to stress.
For example, if you feel anxious, restless, or struggle to switch off… that’s often linked to Vata.
If you feel easily irritated, overheated, or burnt out… that can be Pitta.
And if you feel sluggish, heavy, or stuck… that’s usually Kapha.
The key is understanding your dominant dosha, because once you do, you can start supporting your body in a way that actually works for you.
