☀️ Fun Sunday fact:
Today is the Winter Solstice - the shortest day of the year, which also means from here on out, the days slowly start getting lighter again.

It’s one of those quiet little moments in the year that often goes unnoticed, but there’s something quite comforting about it. More light ahead. Longer days coming. A gentle shift in the background while life carries on as normal.

So if today’s a slow one, that feels about right.
If it’s busy, that works too.
Either way, it’s a nice reminder that brighter days are on their way - literally.

How are you spending your Sunday, out getting fresh air, or tucked up somewhere warm?

It’s Saturday, which means the pace shifts a little. Some people are out doing last-minute bits, some are dodging the shops entirely, and some are firmly committed to doing as little as possible.

However today’s shaping up for you - busy, slow, social or quiet, we hope there’s a moment in it that feels good. A laugh. A warm drink. A walk. A sit-down that lasts longer than planned.

That’s very much the energy we love at Three Sixty too, real life, no pressure, just people taking things as they come.

What kind of Saturday are you having today:
Out and about, or staying cosy?

Men’s Group is on today from 1:30pm – 3:30pm, and it’s one of those spaces where you don’t need to arrive with a plan.

Some Fridays the chat flows. Some Fridays it’s quieter. Some Fridays people just sit, listen, and enjoy not being anywhere else for a couple of hours.

That’s the beauty of it, no pressure to say the right thing, no expectation to be anything other than yourself. Just a group of men sharing space, time, and the odd laugh as the week comes to a close.

If your Friday could do with a steadier pace, you’re very welcome to join us.

🍰☕ Fridays just got tastier.

Cook, Bake & Blether is on today, a proper end-of-week group where food brings people together and the chat flows just as easily as the kettle. Some days it’s cooking, some days it’s baking, and some days it’s mostly blethering.

There’s no pressure to be a master chef or know your way around a recipe. It’s about sharing the space, learning as you go, and enjoying a relaxed Friday with good company and something warm coming out the kitchen.

If your idea of a good Friday includes food, laughter and a seat at the table, this one’s for you.

🎅 There’s a bit of festive magic in the air today!

This is the part of December where Christmas stories say everything’s happening behind the scenes, plans coming together, moments being shared, and little memories quietly being made.

Today at The Place, Festive Fun is one of those moments, another story we’ll look back on and smile about one day. Music, food, company, and a space full of people just enjoying being together.

Because that’s the real magic of this time of year, the stories we collect along the way.

So tell us: what’s one Christmas story you always end up talking about?
The funny ones are very welcome 🎄

David checking in from the allotment!

Earlier this week has been all about rolling up sleeves and getting stuck in — cleaning out the shed, tidying things up, and lending a hand to one of our members with their own allotment space just across from ours. That’s what this group is really about: mucking in together and helping where it’s needed.

If you like being outdoors, doing something practical, and being part of a group where everyone looks out for each other, the Allotment Group would love to have you along. No experience needed — just a willingness to help and get involved.

🗓 Mondays 2pm – 4pm
🗓 Wednesdays 10am – 12pm
📍 Craigie Allotments, Ayr

Pop along, say hello, and see what it’s all about.

The Public Living Room is open from 10am – 12pm, and if you need a break from the December madness, we’ve got the perfect spot.

Today’s theme?
Sit down. Warm up. Have a laugh. Take a moment away from the December whirlwind.

People come in with every type of Tuesday energy, chatty, sleepy, curious, caffeinated, “I’ve already lost track of the week”… and it all works.
There’s room for every version of you in here.

Whether you stay for ten minutes or the full two hours, it’s a brilliant way to settle your mind and catch your breath without any effort. Just show up and be human for a bit.

What makes a space feel welcoming to you?

🎄 Sunday Fact Time:
Did you know that in Scotland, some families used to keep their Christmas trees up until 12th January because taking them down too early was considered bad luck?
Imagine the freedom of “I’ll do it later” being an actual tradition...

Whether you’re being festive today or fully avoiding the sight of tinsel, we hope your Sunday brings at least one small moment that makes you smile, a warm drink, a good view, a quiet five minutes, whatever works.

What’s the latest you’ve ever taken your tree down? Be honest!
