I have been in the veterinary industry since 1997, when I started training as a veterinary nurse. In Jan 2000 I qualified as a RVN. I am lucky to have had a full and diverse career where I have worked in general practice to Multi discipline referrals hospitals. I was also lucky enough to work in Australia for a year. Each position has further my knowledge and understanding of animals. Animal physiotherapy was a way for me to use all my skills but specialise in an area. I qualified from The College of Animal Physiotherapy in march 2014, and set up for private clients November 2014. I am mobile and work from an established veterinary clinic. Today was my last day at the clinic here in the Galapagos. I've had the most incredible experience. A massive thank you to all the people I've met you have all been so welcoming and kind. You work hard in very different situations to home but I want you all to know what an amazing job they do. Any vet / vet nurse friends friend thinking on volunteering abroad I highly recommend it.

I have been a vet nurse since my training started in 1997. I qualified in Jan 2000. The picture above is from 2007 while working at GWR referrals with some amazing vets and nurses and exotic animals.
I learnt so much! While working there I went to a CPD talk that has forged my vet physio career ...... Shout out to Donna she set the seed....... I even did shadow days with her to complete my studies and 11 years on and I feel very grateful
March 2014 I qualified as a vet physio Nov 2014 I set up my business
I have survived the 1st year ,a pandemic and life and feel very privileged.

As an RVN I've had some amazing opportunities. Back in 2003 I went to Guatemala and spent time volunteering at a zoo and exploring. I got to bottle feed badly pumas ( mountain lions ) this was Ron Ron and Pulesa. I was lucky enough to spend time with the vet team as I was an RVN and meet some amazing people ❤️
