A good morning’s work 😁. After practicing a class focused on Aparigraha ( non grasping, non hoarding ) with Jason Crandell, I went out to put it to the test! I picked enough blackberries for me and my neighbours breakfast and left plenty for the birds and the bugs. … it was a challenge! Next, an offering for my little alter. Bryony Wall Kimmerer taught me to ask each plant before taking a flower and genuinely listen to the answer I get back. This conversation with the world around me, makes life so much sweeter. Thank you Mother Nature, for the gifts. I will try not to hoard them. 🌷

Over the course of 4 days and 3 nights, Olivia and I will guide you through Yoga practices using the body, the breath … and the voice. If you haven’t done anything like this before and if you don’t consider yourself to be a “singer” - join the club! You are welcome. 😁Olivia’s teaching is nothing like you will have experienced before. She uses the voice as a tool for self enquiry, for healing, connection and full on joyful explorations. I will be taking a different path up the same mountain: leading you in daily yoga and pranayama. There will be workshops, there will be chats around the fire, there will be long quiet walks, morning meditations, sauna, freezing plunge pool, peaceful nights and epic views. Last week I assisted the legendary Vicky Fox, teaching a new batch of wonderful Yoga for Cancer teachers. 1 in 2 people will be effected by Cancer in their lifetime. And thankfully many will live long full lives after Cancer diagnosis. Yoga is a joyful practice that really comes into its own, in the most difficult times of our life. For myself, Yoga has been a rock when I’m grieving, a road map when I am injured, and a connection when I’m feeling separate. Sharing Yoga with folk effected by Cancer is not only my passion, but feels to me like an obvious pairing. Yoga can help with the anxiety, anger and grief that might come with diagnosis, it can help connect us back to our bodies after surgeries, and it can help with the side effects of life saving treatments. In short, it can help us feel a bit more ourself. Vicky often says”You don’t have to feel good to come to this class”, my aim as a teacher, is that you feel a even just a little bit better by the time you leave.
