We had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day in the home! 💚
The morning started with delicious shamrock shakes, followed by a wonderful performance from the talented dancers at Arran school of dance. We finished the afternoon with some themed bingo, lots of laughs, and great craic all around. A lovely day enjoyed by everyone! ☘️

Last week we celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a lovely morning of bingo, followed by a special treat for everyone 🥞

Residents chose their own toppings, enjoyed a chat with music in the background, and loved tasting their delicious creations. A lovely afternoon all round!

Yesterday we had a fun visit from Kidz Farm

Residents, staff and visitors loved interacting with all the animals- including pigs, a goat, rabbits, a lamb, a hedgehog, bearded dragons, tortoise and even snakes, a giant millipede,rats and a tarantula!This amazing experience filled our day with laughter and everyone had a great time! Thank you, Kidz Farm, for a wonderful visit! 🐾💚

We were delighted to welcome the mayor of Ballymena Jackson Minford, and his wife, Mayoress Alison Minford to our home during the Christmas period.

The Mayor and Mayoress took time to chat with our residents, it was especially heart-warming to see the Mayoress reconnect with some of our residents whom she knew personally, making the visit even more meaningful.

Moments like these truly capture the spirit of Christmas — community, kindness, and connection. Thank you to the Mayor and Mayoress for taking the time to visit and help make the season extra special for our residents. ✨🎄

To kickstart our January activities, we celebrated Elvis Presley turning 91!
Our residents enjoyed singing and dancing along to Elvis’ music, exploring fact files and biographies, and even trying Elvis’ famous peanut butter and banana sandwiches🥪

A lovely morning with our residents.

The gents enjoyed a gentlemen’s tea morning, playing games, doing festive word searches, and reminiscing about our favourite Christmas memories. All served with a hot cup of tea and refreshments, of course! ☕🎄

Meanwhile, the ladies got busy making some beautiful flower arrangements 🌸 Lots of chats, laughs, and smiles all round — just how we like it! ❤️

We’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit with some wonderful festive activities! 🎄✨ Our residents enjoyed making tasty reindeer treats, creating beautiful Christmas cards, salt dough- tree ornaments and crafting wreaths. It’s been a joy to see so much creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer shared together during the month of December.❤️🎅
