Emollients are necessary to treat skin conditions but please be aware of the fire risk from these products.

Emollient creams are vitally important to people who suffer from chronic skin conditions, however they can be a fire risk. The creams can transfer from the skin onto clothing, bedding and dressings which can easily catch fire from a naked flame.

If you use, or you care for someone who needs emollient creams, lotions or gels, you can help keep them safe by reducing the related fire risks.

➡️Never smoke in bed
➡️Do not smoke if there is any chance your clothing or dressings could be contaminated with these products
➡️Do not cook with gas or electric hobs, if there is any chance your clothing or dressings could be contaminated
➡️Do not sit too close to any open fires, gas fires or halogen heaters
➡️Wash your clothing and bedding frequently at the highest temperature recommended by the fabric care instructions

UPDATE

Thanks to a router I had at home the WiFi has been restored most of our systems are back up and running.

The Collection point is now operating as normal.

We also can accept card payments.

If you normally get a text when your prescription is ready, if your prescription was stored yesterday or today you may not have got a text please call in to the pharmacy to collect your medication.

Due to issues with our internet being down, all in store purchases will have to be in cash.
Our PS24 collection point has also been affected by this, therefore all collections will be available in store.
Phonelines are also affected.

Due to an unforeseen technical issue, our PS24 Collection Point will be out of service until further notice.
All prescriptions currently loaded in the collection point, have been removed and are available to collect in store.
