💉 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 💉

Please be advised that our flu clinic today is by appointment only.

We have currently run out of vaccines for those in the 18-64 age range and will be in touch with those patients who were booked into today’s clinic when we receive further supply.

Patients under 18 who require the nasal vaccine and those over 65 should come ahead for their vaccine.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused

Flu is spreading, you can help stop the spread by:
📍Washing hands regularly
📍Catching coughs and sneezes in a tissue
📍If eligible get your free Flu, COVID-19 or RSV vaccine

Tomorrow is the start of World AMR Awareness Week (18-24 November).

Antibiotics don’t work on viruses like colds or flu. Self-care is often the best choice to treat minor illnesses.

Pharmacists are qualified to give advice about different health matters, including minor illnesses, so consider speaking to a pharmacist before going to your GP.

Also if eligible get your flu and COVID-19 vaccine.

Earlier this year our amazing team entered relay teams into the Belfast City Marathon in aid of Action Cancer.

We are delighted to announce that the final total raised for the charity was £5767.

Action cancer provides vital help and support to those living in our community & we would like to thank all of those who supported our team and this amazing charity👏🏻

Following our colleagues in other GP practices, we wanted to reassure our patients that GP practices are working harder than ever to deliver services to those in our community.

We often receive questions around why it takes so long to process a repeat prescription, to get through on the phones or to get an appointment.

Demand for GP services is higher than ever & all of our staff do their best to ensure our patients are well looked after.

Below are some figures from last week (wc 6th October). These figures don’t include the work carried out by our back office staff, such as processing requests for notes, legal reports, insurance reports, processing registrations for new patients and liaising with hospitals and other outside agencies such as nursing homes, district nursing teams etc.

We would like to thank all of our patients, for your continued support.
