β Please take a wee minute to read/share if you can, thank you β
This year I am taking part in πWalk for Autismπ
I will be walking 8,000+ steps a day for 8 days or more.
This is a cause very close to my heart so it's important for me to raise money as I myself am a Mum of 2 autistic children. I have the most amazing, inspiring, handsome, strong & super special twin sons aged 5 called Luke & Leo Beattie ππ©βπ¦βπ¦π
They were both diagnosed with non verbal autism about 2 years ago and finding out just made me love them even more...if that's even possible...My sons truly mean the whole world to me. Autism is proof that love doesn't need words!β€
One of the reasons I'm doing 'Walk for Autism' is that I'm hoping it will get more people talking about it which can help raise awareness and give people more of an understanding towards it. Autism does not define a person and some people have absolutely no knowledge about it so I would like to help those that don't understand by drawing it to their attention & kindly making them more aware π. People do not suffer from Autism but they can suffer from the way they are treated (by some, not all). I would like to try & change that. Autism is not a disability....it's a different ability & it is OK to be different! Why fit in when you were born to stand out? ππ
SO I am asking my friends & family to please help me raise money and awareness. Even the smallest donation will be greatly appreciated or if you can't donate you can help by sharing this post for me.
My kids will be participating to & will be joining me on some of my walks whenever they are able.
My family & I thank everyone that donates or shares in advance. We appreciate it very muchπππ
