Probably you have heard about “Blue Monday” (The gloomiest day of the year). But did you know that there is an iniciative to change it to “Brew Monday”?
Yeah. Actually, Blue Monday was created to sell travel packages in its origin. It has no scientific base whatsoever.

What it is true though, is that in January many people go through what’s called SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), which affects around 2 million people in the UK, causing symptoms similar to depression including low mood, lethargy and loss of interest in hobbies.
For that reason, there’s a movement to change it to “Brew Monday”, encouraging people to get together, drink a cup of tea and catch up with loved ones to fight this S.A.D.
Tag the person with whom you would spend this Brew Monday catching up with!
