It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wonderful Mum, Helen Marjorie McPherson (nee Perks) on Wednesday 11th March 2026, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy), much loved Mum to Ewan and Lesley, dear Mother in Law to Ann and Nigel. Adored Granny to Michael, Jack, Jonathan and Daniel and a special Great Gran to Theo and Sonny.
A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held at the Banffshire Church of Scotland East (Macduff Parish Church) on Saturday 11th April at 10am, thereafter to Myrus Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but donations, if desired in lieu, may be given for Macduff RNLI.

Bill’s family would like to thank everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy they have received following the sad loss of their dad, Bill.
Grateful thanks to Turriff Medical Practice, the Turriff Community Nurses, and Dawson Court for the support and care they gave to Bill over the past few years. Thanks also to Audrey for the beautiful floral arrangements, and to the Fife Lodge Hotel for the lovely teas.
Special thanks to Jane and all at AD Walker Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness. Thanks to Anna Chapman for the comforting and personal service, reflecting Bill’s life story, and for the comforting words at the service

Peacefully, at home, in the arms of her son, Paul, after a long and bravely fought battle with Cancer, Fay née Bruce, aged 81 years passed on Sunday 8th March 2026. Beloved wife of the late George Guthrie.
Much loved mum of Paul, Nichola and stepson Colin. Cherished mother-in-law to Wilma, Dave and Anne.
Devoted Nana to grandchildren Alice, Dean, Alex, Isla, Callum, Craig, Steph, Ross and Stuart and great grandchildren Leo, Layla, Gracie Fay, Lilly, Nevaeh and Rinoa.
Loving sister to Jane and Andy and the late Charlie, Cliff, Ena, Peter and Edward. Auntie, friend and known as Nana to so many others.
Funeral service to be held in A D Walker Rest Rooms, Banff on Tuesday 17th March at 12 noon, thereafter to King Edward Cemetery.
All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be made in memory of Fay to Highland Hospice Sunflower Carers who assisted in caring for Fay and brightened up her days.

Much loved wife and best friend of Clive for over 63 years, beloved mum of Shirley and Stephen, proud grandmother of Craig, Jack and Jenson and a dear great grandmother, mother in law, aunty and great aunty. Beloved wife of the late Douglas, much loved mum of Alan, John, and Angie, cherished Granny to Claire, Kieran, Connor, Alfie and Eilidh, Great Granny to five boys, beloved sister, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

Audrey’s family would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, comments and many kind expressions of sympathy they have received following her sad passing.
Grateful thanks to all the medical staff and carers that were involved in her care over the last year, to Audrey Smart for the beautiful flowers and to the Deveronside social club for the lovely food. Special thanks to Jane and staff at A D Walker who were amazing throughout, thank you for everything.
Finally, heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to pay their last respects to Audrey and generously donated £306 towards local charities.

Nicki and the family of the late Pat Brown wish to express heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered condolences, sent flowers, shared cherished memories, and kept us in your prayers. Your love and support have been a tremendous source of strength and comfort during this difficult time.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Jane and Colin at AD Walkers for their care and professionalism, and to Robin Wiseman for his comforting service. Finally, thank you to everyone who generously contributed to the donations in Pat’s memory, raising £90 for the RNLI.
