It is with the greatest sadness that the family intimate the loss of Harold Hunter Harrower after a short illness at Wakefield House Cullen, on 18 December aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean and a devoted dad to Tricia, Esther and Katrina , highly respected father in law to Tommy and Stewart and a loving Grandad to Claire, Jamie, Euan and Ellie. Harold was also a much loved cousin, brother in law , uncle and friend to many . Funeral service to be held in Portsoy Church Centre on Tuesday 30th December at 11am, thereafter to Fordyce Cemetery to which all friends are respectfully. At Harold’s request could you please wear colours if possible.
Family flowers only but donations if desired to Wakefield House comfort fund and The Cinnamon Trust.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Sandy Christie on Wednesday 17th December, at home, after a long battle with illness.
Sandy was a devoted husband to Marzena, a loving father, grandfather, stepfather and step-grandfather. A proud Gordon Highlander and a friend to many, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
On behalf of all of us, we would like to thank everyone who supported Sandy and his family during this difficult time. Special thanks to Marie Curie and Community Nursing Teams for their unfaltering care.
Your thoughts, prayers, and kind messages are greatly appreciated as we remember his life.

The family of the late Madeline Shacklock would like to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for their many kind expressions of sympathy and support.
Thanks to the staff at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Stroke Unit and Chalmers Hospital Banff for their gentle care and kindness during Madeline’s stay, to Celebrant, Nicola Johnston for a comforting and beautiful service and to Audrey for the beautiful floral arrangements.
A special thanks to Tommy and staff of A.D. Walker for their professional and caring funeral arrangements. Thanks to the Cullen Bay Hotel for providing refreshments and finally to all who attended the service and donated so generously in memory of Madeline. The sum of £480 was raised for Friends of Chalmers Hospital.

The family of the late Moira Rothnie (nee Paterson) would like to thank all family and friends who kindly sent cards , flowers and messages following their recent loss of Moira.
Special thanks to Jane at ADWalker for her professional and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangement.
Also to the staff at Banffshire East, Church of Scotland, and to Hugh O’Brien for conducting such a personal and fitting service.
All those who paid their respects at the church and for generous donations to BHF and Cancer Research, and also to The Knowes hotel for the much appreciated refreshments.

Suddenly but peacefully, at home on Tuesday 9 December 2025, Juliet (Judy) Whyte (nee Smith fae the Colony), aged 83 years. Beloved wife of Jimmy, devoted mother to Carolyn, James, Allan and Julie-Dawn and a much loved mother- in- law, granny and great granny.
Funeral service on Thursday 18 December at 10am at The Banff Springs Hotel with the interment to follow at 1:30pm at Inverurie Old Cemetery. Family and friends are warmly welcome. Family flowers only, but donations may be given if desired to local charities. Judy's love and kindness leaves a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Sadly missed and loved forever.

Suddenly at home on Sunday 7th December 2025. Helen, aged 92 years. Formerly of Auds, Boyndie Banff. Devoted wife of the late Douglas, much loved mum of Helen, Hazel and Colin, dear mother in law of George and Katrina. Beloved granny of Richard, Claire, Emma, Lisa and Stephanie and a proud great granny and great great nana.
Helen will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Moray Crematorium on Tuesday 16th December at 12.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations may be given for Cancer Research and Dawson Court Residents Fund.
