Ian and family want to thank everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy they have received following the sad loss of Kathleen.
Grateful thanks to the ambulance crew who attended, the staff at ARI and also the staff at Chalmers Hospital for all they care given to Kathleen, to Elaine Bunce for her lovely tribute at the service and graveside, to Flowers by Audrey for the beautiful arrangements, the Deveronside club for the welcoming teas and to A D Walker Funeral Directors for all their support. Finally, thanks to all those who came to pay their last respects and generously donated £655.50 for the Anchor Unit and Friends of Chalmers Hospital.

The family of the late Ian Morrison wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbour’s for all their kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by the way of flowers, cards and messages following their sudden loss. Special thanks to Jane and Colin at AD Walker Funeral Directors for their care and professional handling of all funeral arrangements, and heartfelt thanks to Jane for her comforting service. Thanks to the Knowes Hotel for the lovely funeral teas. Also, many thanks to the flower house for the beautiful flower arrangements. Grateful thanks to all the medical staff, carers and the ambulance service, and to all who generously donated in aid of the Scottish Ambulance Service, it is very much appreciated.

Suddenly at home on Wednesday 1st April 2026.
Anne nee Runcie, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved and loving mam of Christine, Gordon, Colin and the late Anne, dear mother in law to John, Bev, Kat and Leslie, very proud granny of Steven, Gillian, Susan, Craig, Faye, May and Nat and a cherished great granny.
Anne will be sadly missed by all family and friends.
Funeral service to be held in A D Walker Rest Rooms, Victoria Place, Banff on Tuesday 14th April at 10.30am, thereafter to Banff Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but donations may be given for Cancer Research.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wonderful Mum, Helen Marjorie McPherson (nee Perks) on Wednesday 11th March 2026, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy), much loved Mum to Ewan and Lesley, dear Mother in Law to Ann and Nigel. Adored Granny to Michael, Jack, Jonathan and Daniel and a special Great Gran to Theo and Sonny.
A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held at the Banffshire Church of Scotland East (Macduff Parish Church) on Saturday 11th April at 10am, thereafter to Myrus Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please but donations, if desired in lieu, may be given for Macduff RNLI.

Peacefully at Roxburghe House on Tuesday 24th March 2026, with his family by his side. William (Willie/Bill) Rae, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Lexie, a devoted, much loved and very proud dad of Alan and Gillian, a dear grandpa to Miller, brother to Michael and a good friend to many.
He will be sadly missed. Funeral private at his own request.

Peacefully, at Doocot View, Banff, on Saturday 28th March 2026, Alexander (Sandy) aged 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Jane, much loved dad of Sandy, David and Fiona, very dear father in law of Lyn, Ann and James, proud grandfather and great grandfather and a dear brother. He will be very sadly missed by all.

Funeral service to be held in Moray Crematorium on Thursday 9th April at 12.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations may be given at the service in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Peacefully, after a short illness at Chalmers Hospital, Banff on Monday 23rd March 2026. Kathleen nee Watt, aged 68 years. Beloved wife of Ian, cherished mam of Alastair, David, Gemma and the late Ross, dear mother in law to Diana and Gavin, much loved granny of Euan, Jackson, Finlay and Edith and Kathleen was devoted to her fur baby. Monty.
She will be sorely missed by all family and friends.
Funeral service will be held in A D Walker Rest Rooms on Friday 3rd April at 10.30am, thereafter to Myrus Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations may be given in memory of Kathleen for the Anchor Unit and Friends of Chalmers.

Fay’s family would like to thank everyone for their cards, flowers and many kind expressions of sympathy they have received following her sad passing.

With very grateful thanks to Highland Hospice’s Sunflower Carers and Elizabeth from Marie Curie, who assisted in the home care of Fay in her final weeks and brought much light to her darker times.

Special thanks to Alison, Jane and Colin at A D Walker who were amazing throughout and made a heartbreaking time a little easier, to Robin Wiseman for a beautiful service at the rest rooms and the graveside and to the Deveronside Social Club staff for the lovely food, their attentiveness and daffodil displays.

Finally, we would like to thank all who generously donated £533.25 towards the funds for the Highland Hospice Sunflower Carers, which will assist in helping them continue to do their invaluable work.

Beloved husband of the late Betty, much loved dad of Gordon and Alan, Ian was respected by their partners Kathleen and Denise, very proud granda of Natasha and Liana, also their partners Scott and Adam and a devoted granda to the dogs Marley, Millie and Lexie, whom he adored.
