Ewan, Lesley and family would like to extend their sincere and heartfelt thanks for all
the kind expressions of sympathy received following the sad loss of their much-loved
mum and granny.
It was heartwarming to receive so many lovely letters, online messages, cards and
flowers from relatives, friends, former pupils and colleagues of Helen.
Thanks to Murray Campbell for his warmth and comforting service, to Robert for the
church music, and to Helen’s nephew Fergus for piping at the graveside.
Many thanks to Jane, Colin, Tom and the staff of A.D. Walker for their compassion
and professionalism, and in particular our heartfelt gratitude to Jane for delivering
Mum’s tribute so eloquently and capturing her true spirit.
Thanks to Helen’s cousin Isabel for the beautiful floral tributes, and to Audrey for the lovely church flowers. Thanks also to the Banff Springs Hotel for the excellent teas and service, which were greatly appreciated after braving the bitter cold.
We thank everyone who came to pay their last respects at the church and graveside, and so generously donated £1,169 to Macduff RNLI.
Finally, we would like to thank the fantastic Community Nurses, Eildon Carers and Marie Curie Nurses for their support, compassion and care of Mum, also Mum’s dear friends and neighbours, whose visits meant so much to her, and to Doris and Ron for everything you have done for our mum.
