NDCN and Aware NI have put together a 6-week FREE mental health course using CBT techniques beginning next Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm.

CBT stands for cognitive behavioural therapy, and is a form of 'talking and doing' therapy. It focuses mainly on the problems facing you at the present time. CBT looks at the past enough to understand how your current patterns of thinking and behaviour came about to start with, which can make a big difference in your life.

World Mental Health Day; Mental Health is a Human right. We know that mental health is a universal human right. But despite this, some groups face more barriers to good mental health than others. It is 2-3 times more likely for children and adults in the lowest income bracket to develop mental health problems than in the highest.
