Welcome to Harper Beauty. A space of calm, peace and stillness located in Helen's Bay, Co. Down. Harper Beauty is about wholeheartedness and authenticity.

Harper Beauty is a special place, not only for its unique location in Lord Dufferin's 1863 railway station but also for our ethos, which is kindness and connection. At Harper Beauty we are focused on creating a space that is calm: a tranquil escape from the hustle and noise. It is our desire, that each person who comes through our doors would feel safe, respected and valued. That each client would experience a deep sense of peace and stillness and leave feeling rested and restored. The Harper Beauty team are dedicated to their work, to the industry and to their continued professional development. Each member of the Harper Beauty team is valued and appreciated for the person and individual that they are and the talent, skills and abilities they bring to the salon. We are here to provide a service and share our knowledge. We are here to do that with honesty and integrity in an industry that we love.

The salon will be closed for a lovely day of team training and learning on Thursday. We will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10-4pm for vouchers, gifts etc. 🤍🤍🤍

Let’s throwback to 2012, we had been open just 2 months when the day came to celebrate our official opening. 🎈How has it been 14 years? These photos are a reminder of the love that surrounded us from the very beginning. For the investment and trust that was placed on my uncertain & nervous shoulders. And for an incredible team that has worked hard from day one. The Harper Beauty team are now 8 strong and they are truly the most professional, kind and loyal women I get to have the privilege of working with. Thank you team HB!
These photos are also a reminder of those who are no longer with us. Tom, James and Elaine — today I raise my cup of tea to you as I write these words. If you need to cancel or move your booking, please give us a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice so we can offer that time to someone else in need of a moment to breathe.

Every year in December we send out a little thank you voucher to each of our clients who has visited in the past year. Today I was looking at how many had been redeemed. That total is nearly at £700. It got me thinking about this small business and how grateful we are to still be standing, 14 years in Helen’s Bay and 21 as a sole trader. Maybe that should be a SOUL trader - for I was a girl without a plan, with a love of connection, who went on this crazy ride and wouldn’t be here without you or the amazing team that stand beside me. You have all been my soul sisters (and brothers). I have never taken the loyalty for granted. We try to pay the kindness back - it may be in a small way, like our Christmas £5 voucher or in a chocolate treat for Valentine’s Day or supporting your schools PTA … there are so many little ways we try to return that loyalty, love and support. We are here for the hard days, the celebrations, the graduations, breakups, first dates, the kids moving away, the new job - we are here and we care. Thanks for being part of Harper Beauty. Here’s to another year! (Also if you do have a £5 voucher they are valid in Feb too. ❤️)

WOW!! ⭐️ £664.30 raised at our coffee morning and treatments day! You guys are AMAZING! I will carry the words of support and love with me every one of those 26.2 miles! The raffle prize is going to be added to over the next few weeks with more prizes and the draw will take place in April. Tickets are £5 for a strip and available in the shop.
