HOW TO FEEL 10% BETTER (EVEN IF YOU FEEL GRUMPY AND STIFF RIGHT NOW)

You don’t have to be good at yoga to do yoga. You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. You don’t have to be healed or perfect or lycra-clad or in a good mood today.

Yoga is waiting for you, wherever you’re at. And you can do it your way. You can modify poses. You’re the one breathing and moving – and you get to chose and explore how to move your body through space.

I have spent the last eight years learning a system called “Forrest Yoga” (so called because it was created by a human being called Ana Forrest, no actual trees involved).
💚
Frequently classes are sweaty and challenging. Which isn’t so much my thing… so I tend to teach the yogas in a gentler way.
💚
One of the classic Forrest Yoga techniques is to pick a spot in the body that needs healing and to spend the whole class focusing on that.
💚
The class below encourages you to chose an area someone along the spine, then move that area, connect to it and learn about it.
Short on time today? This class is only 50 minutes long. Carve out the time sometime this weekend.

BUT it’s also good to know we can chose to generate warmth and life and light inside ourselves. And that is a powerful intention to work with.

Explore some Abdominal activations, followed by Dipping Frog with a Roll (Poppy Perinatal) and Star Spiral Pulse (Forrest Yoga).

Learn to preserve your vegetables through fermenting them in brine…

This helps to keep your produce edible for longer and the salt water creates an environment where bacterial magic can happen!

Kimchi is a powerful pro-biotic food, great to support healthy digestion.

In this session we will taste various fermented vegetables and learn to make some Kimchi with locally grown harvest produce including cabbage, radish, garlic and chilli.

Sunday 5th October 2.30-5pm, with Claire Mace

Please bring with you a large jar, a chopping board and knife
