BBC presenter and runner Sophie Raworth lined up for the 55km Mallorca UTMB at 55 – one of just nine women in the 55–59 age group on the start line.

After more than 50km of steep, rocky trails and 2,450m of climbing through the Serra de Tramuntana, she crossed the finish line in 10 hours and 41 minutes – proving age doesn’t have to be a barrier to taking on one of the toughest races around.

Rehabilitation and Education

I have been a Muscle and Joint pain specialist for the past 25 years. Ten of those years as a registered Osteopath. I have lectured at FE and HE in Sports Science and as a Sports Massage tutor at the London School of Sports Massage under Mel Cash. I treat all muscle and joint pain and specialise in sports injuries and rehabilitation. I believe that our chosen lifestyles have a direct effect on our health and well being. I advocate Yoga and meditation and truly believe that if we can decrease our stress and increase our happiness on a daily basis that this will benefit both ourselves and our society. For more information please visit my LinkedIn profile, website at www.zaclaraman.com ,this page or my Instagram @zacosteo16. I also have two other pages; Give it a go Plant Based Food and One Planet relating to vegan food and global conservation respectively.
