January has brought an unusually high number of cancellations (17 so far). While I completely understand that weather, illness and family matters are sometimes unavoidable, missed or very late cancellations have a real impact on a small, independent business.
To help things run smoothly for everyone, please remember to:
● Add your appointment to your own calendar (with a reminder if helpful)
● Cancel with as much notice as possible, ideally at least 24hrs in advance
I've always done my best to refill cancelled slots and have not charged where this has been possible. However, this takes considerable time and isn't always achievable. As this is my livelihood, going forward I may need to be firmer around late cancellations or no-shows.
