Data Protection and Privacy policy.
This document outlines how my Businesses Dandelion Jewellery and Music and Mind comply with GDPR regulations.
Introduction
1.1 What data does Dandelion Jewellery / Music and Mind collect ?
I receive, collect and store any information you provide when you send me a message on Facebook or via our website to place an order or make a booking which is usually:
Full Name, Address ,Email Address
1.2 How do I collect this data?
This data is supplied to Dandelion Jewellery/Music and Mind from yourself via the message sent to my Facebook or Website and via PayPal when I invoice you and you pay the invoice. I receive the details you provide at the time of ordering so I can dispatch your parcel to the correct address. I also receive an email from PayPal confirming a purchase has been made and the address you have requested I send the items to.
1.3 Why do I collect this data?
I collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes;
· To provide and operate services
· To provide our users with on going customer assistance.
· To comply with any applicable laws and regulations
I require your Full Name & Address so that I can send your parcel to the correct place of residence once it has been completed. I also ask for your email address, so I can get in touch with you should there be a problem and I use your email address to invoice you for your order/service.
I do not have a mailing list or send out group mailing . All email addresses are stored via contacts on my secure device.
1.4 Do I share this data?
Your data is not shared with or sold to any outside individuals.
I share your Full Name & Delivery Address if applicable . This is so your parcel can be delivered to you.
2. Using Your Data for Marketing Purposes
Your personal Data is not used for marketing purposes and not held on a mailing list.
2.1 Other Communication
I may contact you to resolve problems or disputes, to send updates about my business contact details, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce applicable national laws, and any other agreement I may have with you. For these purposes I will contact you via email only.
I will not contact you individually to inform you of promotions, sales or other business related information .
All promotional information will only be available via my page or Website.
3. How Do I Keep your Data Secure?
3.1 Data stored digitally
Though your Full Name and Address are written onto shipping labels, these are not saved on an electronic device.
Invoices are stored electronically on a password protected device .
Devices in my possession that have access to my Facebook Website & PayPal accounts are as follows;
PC – Password Protected Mac Book Laptop – Password Protected
i phone Mobile Device – PIN Security
I employ security measures on all of my devices to ensure data is stored securely.
3.2 Data stored as a hard copy
On occasion if requested I will print a hard copy Invoice for customers . Invoices are not stored as hard copy by me.
4. Requesting a Copy of the Data we hold
You can request a copy of all the data I currently hold on file for you. I am legally required to provide this to you free of charge and within a month of the original request.
