Today we came together for a meaningful arts and crafts session, creating our Peace Tree — a symbol of reflection, compassion, and hope.
As part of the afternoon, we also shared a poetry session, giving space for quiet thought, expression, and connection through words.

We had a truly special Burns Night here at Signature of Banstead ✨
Our residents were treated to the glorious sound of the bagpipes, played by a retired Scottish Guard – a moment that was both moving and unforgettable. As the music filled the room, it brought back memories, pride, and a few happy tears.
As the poem The Lone Piper reminds us, “Above the battle’s roar, the Lone Piper sounded” – and for us, his pipes echoed history, courage, and tradition.

• Karen from Monetary Solutions Limited provided practical financial advice including how to make the most of your assets, manage costs and later life planning and equity.

What a joyful week at our home! 🧡
Our new General Manager, Daniel, was straight on the dance floor, sharing smiles and a few dance moves with our residents to the smooth sounds of vintage jazz and the beautiful voice of Liza 🎶💃🕺
Creativity was flowing too – residents enjoyed flower arranging with glorious, colourful carnations 🌸, while our Dementia Community took part in watercolour painting, promoting dexterity, focus, self-expression and gentle social connection 🎨
Moments like these are what make our home so special – music, creativity, laughter and meaningful engagement all coming together 💜

Left happy smiles and memories behind…

This week we were all delighted to welcome a very special visitor to Signature at Banstead 🐴✨
Marshmallow the Shetland pony trotted in and instantly captured everyone’s hearts. From gentle strokes and cuddles to lots of smiles and laughter, our residents absolutely loved spending time with him.

Moments like these bring so much joy, spark wonderful memories, and remind us just how powerful animal visits can be 💛
A truly magical day that will be remembered for a long time.
