Does Your Mother Know... how good she is at painting! 💃🎨✨

Our first-ever Sip & Paint was an absolute smash hit! We went full Mamma Mia this week, with ABBA’s greatest hits playing while our residents got creative with their canvases.

From Voulez-Vous to Waterloo, the energy was brilliant! It was a lot of hard work to set up, but seeing the residents enjoy the music and the Mediterranean vibes made it all worth it. As you can see, the results are simply masterpieces! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who made our Greek island getaway in Banstead so special. We can’t wait for the next one! 🥂

🥞 It was a "flipping" fantastic day at Signature at Banstead! 💜

We celebrated Pancake Day in style, and our residents were right in the thick of it! From whisking the batter to mastering the perfect flip, the café turned kitchen was full of laughter and the delicious scent of fresh pancakes.

Whether they topped theirs with classic lemon and sugar or went for something a bit more decadent, a great time was had by all. 🍋✨

🧧🐎 Celebrating Chinese New Year at Signature of Banstead! 🐎🧧
We truly got into the spirit of all things Chinese as we welcomed the Year of the Horse 🎉
Our residents enjoyed tasting traditional Chinese food, took part in a fascinating discussion and presentation about Chinese culture and traditions, and even had a go at practising Chinese writing ✍️✨
It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and new experiences – a lovely way to celebrate together and embrace cultures from around the world 🌏❤️

💕 Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day! 💕
Our home was filled with romance, laughter and timeless tunes as we celebrated with a truly special Valentine’s afternoon. Residents enjoyed glasses of bubbly champagne 🥂, beautiful red roses 🌹, indulgent chocolates 🍫 and delicious red velvet cupcakes ❤️
The atmosphere was set perfectly with a Frank Sinatra tribute, filling the room with classic love songs and plenty of smiles, toe-tapping and sing-alongs 🎶
A gorgeous day celebrating love, love, love — memories made and hearts full 💞

🌿 The Peace Tree 🌿
Today we came together for a meaningful arts and crafts session, creating our Peace Tree — a symbol of reflection, compassion, and hope.
As part of the afternoon, we also shared a poetry session, giving space for quiet thought, expression, and connection through words.
✨ “Remembering the past so that future generations choose kindness.” ✨
Moments like these remind us of the power of creativity, remembrance, and choosing kindness every day. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the afternoon so special💜💜💜

We had a truly special Burns Night here at Signature of Banstead ✨
Our residents were treated to the glorious sound of the bagpipes, played by a retired Scottish Guard – a moment that was both moving and unforgettable. As the music filled the room, it brought back memories, pride, and a few happy tears.
As the poem The Lone Piper reminds us, “Above the battle’s roar, the Lone Piper sounded” – and for us, his pipes echoed history, courage, and tradition.
Thank you for sharing your talent and heritage with us, Mr Ingram. What a beautiful way to celebrate Burns Night 💙

Today we hosted an expert-led presentation covering the key aspects of care options for "rightsizing".

• Stephanie from Senior Move Partnership explained the downsizing services available to help you sort, pack and transition smoothly to your new home, including practical and emotional support.

• Karen from Monetary Solutions Limited provided practical financial advice including how to make the most of your assets, manage costs and later life planning and equity.

• Sarah from Meers Legal Services discussed the importance of Lasting Powers of Attorney, explaining why you need one and how she can help.
