Collections will either be brought forward or will take place later in the week than normal, so do make a note so you don't forget.

●You have difficulty negotiating outside spaces to move the new bins e.g. you have steps or steep driveways.
●If you feel the bins are blocking access because you have no choice but to leave them outside...
YOU CAN ASK FOR BOXES TO BE RETURNED TO YOU AND THE BINS REMOVED.

As part of the 16 days of action to raise awareness around Violence Against Women and Girls VAWG, we will be in Market Square Lancaster between 7pm and 9pm this Friday 5th December.

There'll be an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor with us too, to offer advice and support.

At 11.23pm on Wednesday night (3rd December), we received reports of a loud explosion in the Carnforth area.

There has been a minor earthquake in the area, near to the Lancashire and Cumbria border, measuring 3.3 magnitude.

There have been no reports of anyone injured or damage caused but we have officers in the area, together with colleagues from the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service.

We have an opportunity to join our busy family run store in the community of Bare.

We’re looking for someone who must be enthusiastic, trustworthy and hardworking with the ability not only to lead but to work as a team.
Have the flexibility to cover holidays and sick notice.
Previous experience not necessary as full training will be provided.
Hold a driving licence
This is a position with the opportunity to progress.

Shifts offered will include evenings and weekends.
Rota’s are pre planned regular shifts.

In store duties to include
Serving at the till
Replenishing and rotating stock on the shop floor
Accepting and checking incoming stock
Taking telephone orders, picking packing and delivering.
General cleaning and day to day care of the store.
