Most of the women who come to me say things like:
“I feel anxious all the time for no clear reason.”
“My heart races out of nowhere.”

This week has been a really lovely reminder of why I do this work.

🤣 Laughter Yoga at Raby Castle — indoors in the riding school, full of warmth, connection, and that beautiful shift in energy you can feel by the end of the session.
💛 A Reiki session that brought a deep sense of calm and grounding.
😌 Tapping (EFT) to gently ease emotional stress that words alone weren’t quite reaching.
😔 Grief support using IEMT — helping a lovely lady release an emotional block that had been keeping her feeling stuck.
📚 And now I’m heading into a weekend of NLP Mastery training because I genuinely love continuing to grow and deepen how I support the women I work with.

This is what my work really looks like, real, meaningful shifts that help people feel lighter and more themselves again.

I feel grateful, grounded, and quietly excited about what’s next.

What would change if you treated yourself like someone you deeply value?

I want you to really think about this for a moment.
You probably treat the people you love with a lot of care. You check in on them, you make time for them. You give them the benefit of the doubt when they’re tired, emotional, or not at their best. You encourage them when they’re struggling and remind them of their strengths when they forget.

But when it comes to you… it’s often a very different story, isn’t it?

You push through when you’re exhausted. You minimise what you’re feeling because “others have it worse”. You talk yourself out of rest, support, or change because it feels inconvenient or indulgent. You stay in situations that drain you longer than you really want to. You keep telling yourself you’ll focus on your own life properly “when things calm down”. (Which, let’s be honest, they never actually do.)

Now the real question:

What would change if you treated yourself like someone you genuinely respected and cared about?

Would you take your own stress more seriously instead of brushing it off?

We don’t talk about this enough, do we?
The tiny moments where you agree to something you don’t want to do — not because you’re excited, not because it feels aligned, but because you feel guilty saying no. About Me | A 2026 Re-Introduction

If you’re new here — or you’ve been quietly following for a while — hello, I’m Wendy.

I support women, particularly in midlife, who look “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or just not quite themselves anymore. The kind of women who are coping… but know something needs to change.

The work I offer is effective and alternative, and it doesn’t rely on traditional talking therapy. I use a blend of approaches including IEMT, NLP, Metaphors of Movement, OldPain2Go, and EFT.

These techniques work with both the mind and the body, helping you feel calmer, clearer, and lighter — often sooner than you expect.

Alongside this, I also offer wellbeing support through group Laughter Yoga and one to one Reiki, for those who want to reconnect with calm, energy, and lightness in a more embodied way.

Many of the women I work with come to me because anxiety has crept into their days, work feels heavier than it used to, or they’re tired of feeling on edge and carrying everything alone.

I work in person from my Serenity Studio in Barnard Castle, or online via Zoom, offering a safe, supportive environment where you don’t have to explain yourself or hold it all together.

They call today Blue Monday, but any day can feel blue.

Some days you wake up already tired.
Some days everything feels a bit heavier than it should.

If that’s you today, don’t try to fix it or force yourself to feel better.

Just pause for a moment and notice three small things you’re grateful for.
Maybe it’s
– the quiet first thing in the morning before the day really starts
– fresh sheets, clean clothes, or a warm shower
