You’re not awkward… you’re just very aware — and a bit tired of second-guessing yourself.

You know that feeling when a conversation ends and your brain won’t quite let it go?
Replaying what you said.

Easter Monday always feels like a bit of a reset, doesn’t it?

In a way where you get to pause and think about what you actually need right now. You don’t need to start over or fix everything all at once. You just get to choose how you move forward from here.

You might notice that what used to work for you doesn’t quite fit anymore. Pushing through, keeping busy, telling yourself to just get on with it… it can all start to feel a bit heavy after a while.

Maybe what you’re craving instead is a bit more space. A bit more calm. A way of doing things that actually feels manageable and more like you.

So today, rather than going straight to the to-do list, it might be worth checking in with yourself first.

What do I actually want to feel this week?
What would help me feel more like myself again?
What would change if I stopped putting myself last all the time?

Those questions matter more than ticking things off.

Change doesn’t always come from big decisions. Sometimes it starts with a quieter moment where you decide you’re ready for things to feel different.

The Accountability Hub explained ...

Here's the thing about accountability that nobody tells you.

Writing it in a journal doesn't really work.
Adding it to a to-do list doesn't really work.
Even telling yourself firmly doesn't really work.
But saying it out loud, to real people who will ask you about it next month?

That works. Every time.

That's what The Accountability Hub is.

🗓 Once a month, 90 minutes on Zoom. You share what you're planning to focus on , such as catching up on accounts, getting ahead with content, sorting the admin pile... you say it out loud and you own it.

The following month we ask you about it. It's a very simple and effective process.

Can I tell you the reason I built The Solo Practitioner POD?

I was lonely in my business and I had a list of things I kept meaning to do that never quite got done.

Month after month the same tasks sitting there, the accounts, the content, the admin... because I was too busy being reactive. Too isolated to feel motivated, and nobody to hold me to the plans I kept making.

I'm Wendy — alternative therapist, wellbeing practitioner and founder of Serene Mind Solutions. I love what I do. Running the business around it is genuinely challenging sometimes.

So I built the thing I needed.

The Solo Practitioner POD. A simple, human space for sole practitioners to plan what they need to do, be accountable for it and feel less alone while they're doing it.

Feel-Good Friday (Without the Hustle)

It’s Good Friday… and while the world might be buzzing with plans, pressure, and perfectly styled hot cross buns, I’m here to remind you of something…

This long weekend doesn’t have to be about catching up, clearing out, or pushing through.
✨ It can be about reconnecting.
✨ Resetting.
✨ Coming back to what actually feels good for you.

Here are 3 small things you can do today that genuinely support your emotional wellbeing...
1️⃣ Choose what lifts your energy, whether that’s quiet time, gentle movement, or saying “yes” only where it feels aligned.
2️⃣ Create a moment of calm, go outside, feel the breeze, notice something beautiful and let your shoulders drop.
3️⃣ Speak to yourself like you would your best mate, kindly, honestly, with a little sparkle.

You don’t need to do more today, you get to choose what matters. You get to make space for you. If part of you is thinking “I want more of this… not just on a long weekend”, that’s exactly the work we do together.

From overwhelmed… to actually feeling in control

Holly came to me because exams weren’t just stressful on the day — they were taking over weeks beforehand.

The build-up felt constant. Her mind wouldn’t switch off, sleep was difficult, and there was always that underlying tension sitting in her body.

You might know that feeling… when it’s not just the situation itself, it’s everything leading up to it too.

After just one session, something shifted.

If April felt like a reset button… what would you choose?
More calm in your head?
Better sleep?
Feeling like yourself again?

We all need different things at different times, so I’ve created a few ways to support you, whatever you’re needing right now.

My 1:1 alternative therapy sessions are there when you’re ready to shift what’s been sitting under the surface. You can book a single session, or go a little deeper with the Serene Mind Reset, a series of three personalised sessions.

Reiki Restore (60 mins) is your time to properly switch off, reset your system and just be for a while.

The Reiki Deep Reset (90 mins) blends that relaxation with deeper support using techniques such as NLP or IEMT, depending on what comes up for you.

Then there’s Laughter Yoga… which might feel a bit out of your comfort zone, but it’s one of the quickest ways to lift your mood and feel lighter (no sense of humour required!).
April dates are:
Monday 13th and Monday 27th, 6.30–7.30pm.

I’ve got limited availability this month with 1:1 sessions running on Thursdays and Fridays only (alternative therapy and Reiki).
