🌿 7 Days of Self-Care 🌿

We’re inviting you to take part in our 7 Days of Self-Care challenge, a simple way to pause, reset, and prioritise your wellbeing.

For just ÂŁ7, you can join the challenge and spend 7 days intentionally doing one small act of self-care each day. It could be as simple as taking a walk, switching off your phone for an hour, journaling your thoughts, or doing something that brings you calm or joy.

Each day, participants are encouraged to share what they did for their self-care moment. This helps build connection, reflection, and accountability, while also reminding others that self-care doesn’t have to be big or complicated to be meaningful.

Why is this worth it?
Because small daily actions can make a real difference. This challenge helps people slow down, become more aware of their wellbeing, and create habits that support long-term mental health. It also brings a sense of community showing that others are prioritising their wellbeing too.

At Rephael House, we provide a range of therapeutic interventions. Below are just three of them, simply explained, as therapy can sometimes feel difficult to understand. That said, the most important element of our work is always the relationship between client and therapist.

Person-Centred Therapy
Focuses on empathy, acceptance, and allowing the client to lead the process. The therapist offers a safe, non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

Psychodynamic Therapy
Explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. It helps individuals gain insight into the “why” behind their emotions and actions.

Art Therapy
Uses creative expression (such as drawing, painting, or other media) to help people communicate feelings that may be difficult to express in words. It can be especially helpful for children or those who find talking challenging.

Keep the pressure low, structure high.
Help your child create a simple, realistic revision plan, and focus your energy on encouragement, not outcomes. A calm, supportive environment does more for performance than constant reminders or added pressure.

We posted yesterday about how walking outside can boost your mental and emotional health, so today’s challenge is simple: get outside and walk! 🚶‍♀️

It could be as easy as walking to the end of your garden path, heading to the next bus stop or tube station, or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous taking a stroll to the park on your lunch break.
