Tight shoulders after a long day?
This simple exercise Garudasana (eagle arms), helps to release tension in your shoulders, neck and upper back - perfect if you have been at a desk or standing all day.
Hunching over devices or computers can cause this tightness..
Sit tall, cross your arms like you were giving yourself a hug, and bring the palms of your hands together - or as close as they will go. Breath deeply in to space where you feel the most stretch.
This is the kind of mindful release I build into every class - combing movement, breath and relaxation to help reset your body and mind.
Be free of those tight shoulders once and for all......
It's about breathing deeply and giving yourself time to unwind.
